dear jaskel sorry but another question on paintworks...my house wall has been re-painted 2 times already due to wrong colour and now need to repaint..wont it be too thick and starts cracking? usually for wrong colour what are the normal procedures? do one repaint white then repaint the colour which the owner wants OR do one 'sand' away the wrong colour ? or its like neither and just repaint over the wrong colour with many coats to get the final 'right' colour?

my MBR aircon has these stains below...but servicing wasnt called in and the painter has painted over it already...a little concern that this stains may be signs of major leak and i see no point of not doing everything 1 time if its really serious then this is the best time (not in financial aspect of cox )...any bros and sis has any experience out there or find these stains familiar...perhaps can enlighten me if this is a sign of sth big coming or its just a simple touching up required to prevent such stains leaked from the air-con...

Cause the painter did let me smell the matex and my so call odourless chalk white in the big tin...and indeed its diff ...(he did it to convince me that he didnt mix the paint type...but of coz this doesnt prove that he didnt use leftover odourless paint from another house to paint my place though...... i would say Jaskel is really a good ID :good: You're like treating each project as your own place man! and mine is contractor..cause I'm running to do all the checks myself...I"m more liek a part-time ID for my place.... :D duno to laugh or to cry...i name all the stuffs i buy and sort them out in diff piles with labels..even the switches.. i go check and sort them in little boxes of whats for kitchen, living, passage way so that it makes work easily and more error-free for the eletcricians...even for kitchen hob, hood, and oven and sink...i went print out model specs and the dimension specs from the website directly and put it nicely for the carpenter so that he will have a more 'accurate' measurements and hahaha i think my carpenter kinda 'touched' duno want to laugh at this young lady or appreciate her efforts.....don';t think any home owner will do what i do....i just want a peaceful and smooth-sailing reno process and just trying to do what i think i can help loh.......tiring but in this way i learn alot

Hihi jaskel I went back to check the paint my chalk white 1135 from nippon turns out greenish white! I looked ard only 1 can of org paint the rest in a big pail and the guy told me they pour out took away the can liao cox can sell for $$!!!! Is that true? ? And he also say see catalogue and on big wall colout will turn out diff one ... Didt know how chall white can turn out greenish and stale

hmm its more of a miscom coz i did indicate this exact paragraph in the email but contractor no time to go check email so ask me sms which i did... but i left the bracket wordings out coz its **** long and before that in the afternoon i told him which piece i want it to be painted darker for the rooms......and he was telling me coz i didnt indicate which is darker and which is lighter colour for each room ... and with a little of assumption and he took it as its the colour for entire room...instead of 1 wall...but nonetheless he is willing to repaint for me......coz i really cannot accept entire room.....!!!!! : Main Colour for Entire House – Chalk White 1135 Kitchen Wall – Misty 5078 Walk in Wardrobe (1 wall where mirror is fixed on , opposite wardrobe) – Whisper Grey 5009 Master Bedroom ( 1 wall where its coloured purple)– Beige 5029 Bedroom 2 ( 1 wall where its coloured pink ) – Natural Cane 8167 Feature Wall – Mocha Delight 3160

hihi jaskel quick question for painting of wall usually one will not mix matex with main white that one is colouring for the entire unit right? I mean usually the can of paint is open and can be used readily already right ? Is there any mixing or diluting required ? I just need to ensure cause i'm worried that painter may mix matex white with the chalk white which i've picked. also..my rooms colour salah..supposed to colour 1 piece of wall with darker colour..end up entire room is coloured..i hope they can "clear" the part which is suppose to be painted chalk white and let it turn out chalk white and not turn out more yellow as the beige base is there already.......kams siahs again
