hahaha...I placed 2 colourful ones outside my house in the potted plants as decorations, and one of the 'bigger' one has gone MIA...not sure got carried away by the wnd or being stolen by kids. Then, I went to a neighbourhood wet market and saw the same design, bought it back home and placed it in my livingroom until recent renovation then I gave it away!

I can take a break now. Just finished our housewarming today & the last group of guests left an hour ago. Actually it is a housewarming & birthday celebration as my birthday is just around the corner...so my eldest son invited his colleagues to celebrate for me.

May It needs special wiring so you have to inform your electrician before he starts rewiring the house. I remember reading your blog that you bring down one wall & make your bedroom bigger right? The remote device really cones handy for your big MBR. Just let your electrician knows you want remote control switch for the lights in your MBR.

Woah still play Sissor-paper-stone? What a lovely couple! I remember I used to kick the other half down the bed if he was reluctant to switch off the lights. Most of us have the light switch installed near to the entrance & have to walk a 'big round the bed' to switch the lights off. My MBR has night curtains & room is very dark at night when lights is off. So, it is a must have device for me.

Just to share my experience here. I installed this Tame laundry system from a Company called Shop 8 Renovation located at kaki Bukit. Due to space constraint, I installed it just above the washer and it remains in this drop-down position all the time in our service balcony. If course, it can retract to the ceiling which looks neater. But as it about 1.8m H from ground, it does not hit our head when we walk past. I will push it out when the clothes need some sunlight.

After the PE inspection, our electrician modified and installed the remote control switch for the lights in MBR: This is the remote control device for the lights: This picture shows how the lights are controlled by the device: Now, I can place the remote control device beside my bed and switch the lights at the touch of my fingers!

Finally passed the Electrical PE inspection yesterday! First thing when the PE inspector arrived, he checked & confirmed the serial number of the meter. Together with our electrician, he surveyed & checked around few electrical points in the house. Some forms which I snapped while they were busy inspecting.....

not sure if it works for ants...ants haven't built their home at my place yet. Maybe no sweets for them & our house is still very very new & I clean daily. But I have one effective method of getting rid of ants! The method is very simple: use your table cloth, place a few drops of detergent & wet the cloth. Do not rinse out thoroughly! Just leave the 'soapy soapy' on the cloth & wipe the area where ants appear. You will eventually notice ants no longer appearing on that 'washed' spot.

Talking about ZWDS, I met my ZWDS classmate last Monday and was shocked at the prediction which comes true. During our ZWDS class, we asked alot of questions when our master walked round the class. When he stopped at this classmate' desk, our master warned her to beware of gynae problem as her House palace has Yin Sha, in addition to Ling Xing, Huo Xing & Qing Yang negative stars are located in her Health palace of last year plate with Hua Ji. Master advised her to go for medical check up. Panic, she took master's advice seriously & went for scanning. Most people would probably wait till symptoms surface then go for check up, right? What shocked her during her scan was the discovery of a big cyst in her womb!! She arranged for appointment for op & just days before the op, then she felt acute pain in her womb. So, for ZWDS, we have to be mindful of the yearly Si Hua. As for my own chart, I was told that I have Lu Chun Hua Lu with another wealth star in one of the palace of last year's chart, which means I have the $$ but I'm also 'troubled' over having extra $$$... Guess what? I was at that time contemplating whether I should spent a bomb in my house renovation. P.s. In the end, I decided to part with huge sum of $$$ on my Extreme Makeover @ Pandan Gardens!!
