yea.. it's a matter of getting used to. It's true sound travel upwards (dunnoe why). I been to houses beside an expressway - the unit at >10th floor is more noisy than the one <5th floor. It is the same for my current flat too. At 24th floor, I can still hear traffic noises but at ground floor, it is very quiet.

WOW.. I collect die-cast model cars too!! but my 'cars' are mostly of tomica-sized. And I see quite a few models which I have too.. Nice collection!

We already set our eyes on a Sharp TV.. but the salesperson says he's able to give us that discount nonetheless, so we decided to take it! so what makes you wanna buy the Sony sound bar instead? more space-saving?

Brought it at ChanHuat (Balestier) together with our chandelier. ## Rhoyxon RZ-9313M - We decided not to take our chances with a glass hob after hearing horror stories about the glass cracking under heat.. Another selling point of this brand is that it is claimed that Italian hobs follow a std size for the cut-out. That is important to us as we don't need to worry about modifying our table-top to fit a new hob, should our existing one gets spoilt one day ## 7.5kg, Samsung WA95V3 - (Courts) WTB got it at a very gd price during their 'First 10 pieces Special price' promotion. ## Hitachi RZ451EMS, 358 litre - (Gaincity) It fits our criteria: "4-ticks" for energy-saving. Think the size is right for us since we unlikely to cook often. ## Sharp Aquos 40" LCD TV, LC40L500M - (Best Denki) Decided to just settle for a Full-HD LCD TV instead of getting LED which is more exp. It matters more to us that the screen size must be at least 40"

Talking about "vibrant colours blending in and harmonize each other".. I know Nippon paint catalog has a color palette which shows just that. Very useful! you may wanna consider getting that free catalog book.

Personally, I don't think L-box + covelights + ceiling fan.. would look weird. My living hall has L-box with ceiling fan. (no cove light as I think that provides a gd nesting place for lizards and insects! haha)

Yoz, my house is about 90% done - Now only left doors painting, mounting of towel bars, curtain rods, and installation of a few ceiling lights Yea.. I'll be going tmr nite, but won't be participating in the competition. Juz going to be audience and enjoy the show and atmosphere!
