  1. Wow, saw that the main bulk of your cost goes to your kitchen. I would suggest to install the soft-closing yourself or buy the soft-closing for drawers and cabinets and pay the carpentor a small labour charge for them to install it for you. Your kitchen cost would cut more than 20%. I had my kitchen installed without soft-closing and it is less than $4000. When I ask him to quote for one with soft-closing, it's more than $6000, like yours! That's totally a rip-off just for the soft-closing....
  2. Actually u should try to install the soft-closing yourself, it's available on ebay or in some hardware stalls; that would make a huge difference to the price quoted... or buy the DIY soft closing set and tell the carpentor to install them for you, guess you can save at least $1000
  3. hi~ so your kitchen is still under renovation? does it have soft closing system??
  4. Hi, does your kitchen cabinet have soft closing systems??
  5. The soft closing is so cool at the IKEA showroom! But its way out of the budget...Anyone know if we can DIY the soft closing ourselves? I think there's some sort of hinge available at the hardware stores
