I personally prefer horizontal, cuz I think vertical look like prison. And I prefer sliding grills... cuz I don't like to have to reach out to close/open the window, also got risk of falling ah... sliding better.

Yes, it's quite similar to Ngee Hong with all the chairs etc. Definitely worth checking out, but I prefer Lush to Comfort though.

I've been to Comfort design. They do a lot of replicas of the designer chairs, but to be honest I feel the quality's not as good though, esp once you hv tried the originals. I think they specialize in commercial furniture. A lot of restaurant dining tables for sale.

The chair on its own is just the metal seat, but you can get the Real Good chairpads, fits perfectly onto the seat due to the magnets at the four corners. Quite comfy with the chair pad. And there are Real Good Barstools and Real Good counter stools too! And yes, rottenramone's the hubby.

The sofas are originally $2,400 thereabouts, but if you are interested, do check with Raymond (the owner) as he may still have 1 or 2 pcs on sale, which is what we got, at around $1,500 to $1,700.

I admire your persistence. Balloted for 3 years, in the end gave up with bloody HDB and went resale instead. Your dusty saga makes me wonder the HDB employees are actually homeowners!
