  1. Hi, any comments feedback on the ikea kitchen? I was quoted approx $9K+ for the ikea kitchen include all the internal basket and all soft closing for the drawer. Price include delivery and installation cost. Any comment on the quality? The price quoted is for a better wood quality. But dun like the table top and their table top is a bit on a high side. Wonder can I choose my own material outside for the ikea table top. Really like their kitchen design.
  2. $300!! cheap !!! Can email your quotation for me to compare ? Heeee I called up town council & also HDB office, for resale flat, it all arrange by the contractor. So HDB or town council wont't arrange any container and haulage for clearing the debris except for NEW FLAT.
  3. I just check with 1 contractor. He told me $215 is for new flat without doing any hacking and retiling work ? And he said resale flat at least $600 Hmm..i will call up town council tom & check.

  11. Yes, you're ight. 4I is no attach bathroom in any of the bedroom. But upgraded 1 extra utility room at the back of the kitchen. Though is low floor but unblock view. In front all trees.. I have a questions..i had sign an exclusive with 1 property agent..if there is another agent who has got potential buyer's, can they bring the buyer's to view my flat? If yes, meaning my agent has to agreed to co-broke with this agent ? My friends has got few agent friends has quite many potiental buyer's looking at my area..but i dont know can they bring their buyer's to come my hse for viewing..Do i have to seek my exclusive agent for permission?
  12. I am asking for 60K COV. Not very high.. I find it reasonable..heee...still waiting for buyer's to counter offer higher.. Has got serious buyer's aiming my flat..Praying hard they will agreed to the price we ask. Cos location is good and peaceful.
  13. godloveyou, U're right!! so now we are missing 1 party. So very risky for us to loose the flat that we already place at deposit of $1000/- We yet to pay $4K to exercise the option. Though we have the HLE loan, but we still can't buy the resale flat first cos seller's asking COV $50K. That why we are doing contra. Can only prayed hard that we can find a serious buyer's for our flat..is only level 3 so a bit difficult to sell though we maintain it quite well..only GOD can help now...

Agent said as 'standby'..cos we are doing contra..meaning we got to sell away our current flat first then we will have the money to pay for the next flat + HLE loan + COV to transfer to Seller's CPF..Maybe seller's agent afraid we cant exercise the OTP cos we are doing the contra.. But my agent said even if other buyer's wanted to purchase, they cannot sign the OTP unless we did not exercise the OTP when the deadline is up.
  15. Yes, but we are doing the contra. So seller's agent still have to find buyer's as a standby in case we can't sell away our current flat fast, or we can't exercise the option, he can have a standby of another buyer's. Therefore will not be wasting time in search of buyer's if after 1 month we still can't sell away our flat.
  16. Yes..not surprise..i view quite many flats there so no choice but to run to Bedok.. Too expensive to digest!!!!!!! How to buy $870K!!! unless both myself & my hubby is working so can consider.. We have already sign the OTP for the new house. Praying hard the seller's wont sell to another buyer's who will afford higher then us else sure very very disappointed!!!

  19. You're right! Bank loan is meant for people who dare to take risk.. We have decided to use HDB loan. Had sign OTP for the new house. Now praying hard my current house is able to sell at a good price.
  20. Am planning to purchase all new items for my new house but there are just too many brands to decide and dunno whether are they long lasting.. Example.. Tekka stove is good? Cos quiet? Toshiba air con is the best cos is the most long lasting? Example 1) Fridge ( mitsubishi? Panasonai) 2) washing machine ( Bosch? Samsung? Toshiba? ???) 3) Hod and stove ( tekka? Rianni? Turbo??) 4) Ceiling fan ( KDK? Panasonic?) 5) air con And where do you normally go and buy all these electrical items? IMM? Harvey Norman ?
  21. Godloveyou, There isn't any good school around. Opposite is the Indian international school. Other then that will be Queenstown Pri and sec school and Gang Eng Seng. No top school around my area and I don't aim for top school. I move because of upgrade to a slightly bigger floor space and my hubby always travel so the new flat to changi airport is much nearer. And my kids loves going to east coast park so moving to the east are really for their sake. Most importantly is the supermarket & wet market which is within walk distant. As I cook almost everyday. So upgrade to the new place is also for my sake as my current Mkt has not much choices. If able to obtain higher COV, is really a blessing from god.
