alternative for her mah! i am currently using the 707 princeton (the rainshower ver.).. its not bad for instant heater!

707 got "rainshower" shower head. it has pretty good temp control for instant too..

Okay.. long long never update again.. one of the weekends, we had some free time and decided to go on a date. So our "current" favourite hobby is to furniture window shop. The hubs brought me to SPACE.. (near NAFA, sunshine plaza etc if you realllly realllly want to know where it is, you can always google!) the place houses a lot of designer originals. of course, the price tags are also exorbitant. however, it is a nice place to gain inspiration. they do display a lot more Kartell chairs than Lifestorey does. i was there to take a look at the Hans Wegner elbow chair. just to satisfy my inner cat. and after looking at the price tag, the cat died. we also went back to AIR division to look at chairs, coincidentally they were having some stock clearance sale. but we left empty handed, alto we managed to get a glimpse of our curve table on display. after AIR division, we went to Lorgan's.. that's when the headache and lemmings came! they carry the elbow chair replica.. and we were so in love with it. however, when we wanted to order the chairs from them.. we realised there was a mix up in pricing (someone swapped the price tags! ) and it turned out really expensive even for the replica. i wasn't keen at the pricing even thou it was what we really wanted.. we KIV-ed another chair (as seen below).. *sigh* which I was ok with it but the hubs was on the fence about it. there was a cross between the elbow and the KIV-ed chair.. but there isn't any display of it at the moment. *sigh* but the both of us weren't very keen on it. so it's really back to the drawing board for the dining chairs. we most likely will be settling for our cheaper alternative of a custom made teak wood bench and mini chair/stools.

lol! i stay near my mum. (she's also in the 'hood) but she freaks out within two hrs.. my eldest only k2.. and no.2 is same age as your no. 4. so i think still "young" thank goodness the eldest old enough to feed herself and all..

imagine the cost is "without" subsidy?! they subsidize 50% of the cost.. den u and ur neighbour will share the remaining 50% however, one of u.. (u or ur neighbour) must go queue and get mp's letter for the subsidy!

the split is okay.. but u must go and get the subsidy from mp if possible. my prev. place i paid in total of 300++ for the upstairs two toilets! GAH! and all i got was patch work to my leaks.

can use listerine (mouth wash) to spray also. XD 5 yrs?! cannot la.. i got 3 kids to support! ROFL. i don't think 10 yrs also can afford to do a re-haul.

yes! my mum maintained hers well too! so i decided to get solid top this round too.. that's like another 1k over my budget.. all the 1k(s) is slowly adding up to a large 10k overbudget. my kitchen has burst its budget long ago.. n some of the "items" i am not willing to compromise. so quartz is sort of like a want but not a need.

*agree* i planning to do a light coloured kitchen.. so really not my thing to get black galaxy.. my prev. kitchen (first home) has granite top.. loved it but hate the water seepage n all on the light coloured granite.

black granite might not go with the look i really want.. on the other hand quartz is quite out of my budget.

i must admit it was very very very shocking to see getski's sink's condition. i was convinced by my friend to buy this kind of granite sink.. looks very stylish on her black galaxy! ...ok la.. i must admit i bought the sink with the intention to match the rinnai hob! XD

i bought the sink combo too! don't mind me asking, how much did u pay for it? ermm.. actually why u wanna undermount? undermount sinks r terribly hard to upkeep.
