    Yup Koori is right. its Skycreation+dc. My ID used to be from Plush livings that merged with this company. I didnt like Skycreation but since my ID was now there.. is really a "i want the ID but dont like the company situation." LOL.. so i went with my gut and took the plunge and hire him although he's now in a branded company, PROVIDED, the workers he use are from plush livings and for him to promise to make sure tt no mishaps will happen like what i read from forums about this company. His exact response to me was " dont worry. got me around, even if the workers are bad, ill make sure everything will be okie by the time u shift in. just trust me " so i trust him and so far, i have not regretted my decision. He has far exceeded my expectations in terms of detail and initative. In fact, im now learning from him how he respond and how he deal with problems to improve my own work. =D You are very sharp! pmed pmed

    Yes, after going through my office reno with an IDIOT ID, i really scared out of my mind. almost EVERYTHING is done wrongly. even my table, is done wrongly. wah lou... Btw, anyone knows a freelance carpenter? i have a small small tinie tiny project i want to do. i want to build a rack for my pets.

    Today is TILING DAY! Johnny gave me some pictures of the tiling works.. so far so good until he highlighted to me something. Can anyone see the problem? i cant! but on closer look HDB did a ****ty job leveling their toilet tiles.. it was more obvious after laying the passage way tiles. because my tiles are 60x60, the jut out and unevenness is more apparent. Option one is i hack the toilet tiles and redo which is impossible! Option 2 is leave it to johnny who said he can try to even it out as much as possible so we dont hurt ourselves. guess i have to leave it to him le ba.. lucky he spotted it. coz i wont ever have. In my service yard, they told making the kerb for the washer already. Johnny suggested to extend the kerb so that I dont have problems cleaning the side of the sewage pipe which is a tight corner. if not there will be very dusty thumbs up for him thinking for me and taking initiative to think of such solution. He made my reno journey so far stress free by thinking ahead and helping me think of solution before presenting the problem. He's also easy to talk to, and will crack jokes sometimes (although abit cheesy). Most important, can keng gai with him and chum siong one some details and price. My flat is well on its way on my reno journey!

    Hi! when you getting your keys? excited? I find his services so far so good. what my friend said was true. Johnny is quite fussy which is good for us home owners. He will take the initative to sms me about the progress and ask my opinon on things that we failed to discuss instead of executing based on his own decision (which is what my STUPID office contractor did). I LOVE my design too!! hehehe.. i just told him what i want, and showed him some pics. but most importantly he picked up on things that I must have said that i didnt realize, and designed accordingly to what i really wanted instead of what i said i wanted. saved me alot of frustration at the end of the day.

    no specs to look out for. Just note that some of the items dont have earth wire which means, its a two pin plug. u can bring it down to any electrical store ask them change for you to 3 pin plug. the voltage in china is the same as singapore. Sure suit one. if u afraid, get those tt other ppl in singapore buy before. but generally is okie one la.. Yes, consulted with my ID on everything. but i heard from some ppl tt id will not be happy if u buy from taobao then ask them fix coz they no comm to earn. but my id encouraged me to get from taobao coz his other customers also buy from there. Johnny even help me go on taobao to choose the item for me. (esp since my chinese sucks.. he help me to see the size and specs and then advise me which one he choose and ask me to choose from his selection for some items) You check with ur id if you need to have the items on hand before buying or can buy as they reno.. coz for mine, johnny wanted me to have everything nearly here before he started reno.. so i dragged about 20+ days from key collection before i can reno.

    i pm you. not sure u want my rain shower tho. hindsight 20/20 i realize it was kinda stupid purchase. haha. The toilet accessories i dont really recommand. the way it was packaged was BAD. just a carton box only. i havent seen the inside to see if anything has been damaged tho and i got it on sale. Lights i havent recieved them, (just one recieved only ) but i will pm you the link anyway.

    The items that I'm buying: - Toilet accessories ( toilet brush, toilet paper holder, towel rail, shampoo holder) - Lights ( LED downlights, ceiling lights, pendant lights) - Basin and cabinet for toilets with mirror - Kitchen Sink and tap - Rain shower - Magnifying mirror - Hotel plush Towels - Bed sheets - insect catcher - mirror cabinet - TV bracket Will probably review as my ID starts to install them as all of them are in crates now. After opening 2 of the crates, my ID advised us to stop opening as after opening, i will not be able to crate them back and it might break if we stack things on top of it. But, the basin and the cabinet for the kitchen was very nicely packed. The round basin came in good condition !

    Just kana today. This guy called Vincent Yeo from Chong Cheng general contractors, asked my father In law to open the door and let him in to measure the window grills in the back of the house at the balcony. I came out of the room coz my dog was barking like crazy. When I saw that man there I asked my father in law if he wanted to do. When he said no, I immediately told him to leave which he refused to. Not sure because I'm a girl and my fil is very old, he started getting very cocky and continued to measure. Said he was doing some other units here also.. And even if we wanted to do, also may not have chance to do. WTF. Continued to ask him to go but he still continue to measure the house and reassure me. I said I'm not interested. That's when he started to get nasty but he still left. The minute he walked down my stairs, I slammed the door behind him and he started to keep knocking and knocking to get back his name card. I told my fil not to open, but old ppl super stubborn. Went to open the door and Tt guy demanded back his name card which I tot was highly suspicious. So I went back to my room to google his company and found this thread. I went out and shouted at him to give me his name card because I wanted to report him.(but of coz didn't say Tt) he was talking to my neighbor when I was shouting at him. Tts when my hubby came home. When he saw me quarreling with him, he confronted him and that's when he gave me his name card and he lost his cockiness. And apologized to my hubby. Entire Blk are all old ppl. He this type of scammer trying to rip off old ppl by telling them time to change their grills and say can give them back $200. Lucky have this forum who have review of this, if not I also won't know.

    Just received a PUB bill.. our first one! The feeling of not wanting to pay is creeping up on me. the bill is S$ 110! Of course.. S$100 is the deposit and S$10 is for the water and rubbish clearing. the reality of having a new responsibilities is finally sinking in. Was reading another T-blog and i realize something about the glass screen that is installed in the bathroom.. is it true that the toilets will be hard to clean because the water will be trapped between the kerb and the toilet bowl? anyone have any ideas how to get around it?

    Ah, okie thanks for the tip. i will take note. i think its time for me to start bugging my future brother in law to set up a china acc for me so that i can shop on taobao. Really like amcon service. but i just hate my agent.

    sorry i missed this question. my fren say his sofa is okie, no visible problem. just tt the sofa needs to have a gap between wall and back of sofa for the recliner to work.

    actually, there is an alternative way to pay instead of alipay or the tb shopping card.. if im not mistaken, u order, then the agent from oops can help u pay also.. but i think u have to ask him exactly how it works..

    Our taobao items: (still have somemore in the other room.. total size is 2.5cbm. My sink, the crate actually broke.. but judging from how hard the cardboard is and the fact that the sink is stainless steel.. i dont think much damage done.. This is the china version of the famous amazon Kraus.. yes.. i got sucked into the beauty of kraus. (still wrapped up coz hard to remove) My most prized possession!! my toilet cabinet and sinks!! my agent managed to bargain for me until each cabinet set (comes with basin, stainless steel cabinet, outlet pipes + packaging) each costs me about S$300! for both toilets I have saved S$450EACH just for custom made cabinet.. havent even count in the toilet basin! (in the box!) anticipation and fear of broken basin as my hubby opens the crates. I can only say the crating is sibei GOU! packed so well, it took us nearly 20 mins to open.. (us = i watch and my hubby hammer the wood off. ) ALL IN ONE PIECE!! the ceramic basin and the ceramic top! After hearing so many horror stories about the basin breaking on the way back to singapore or opening then discovering the basin broken, I am HAPPY that this arrived in one piece. Its going to suck trying to replace the basin (tts why my panic). I would have to find the EXACT size of the basin to fit the hole of the counter if it broke. sure gila one. Thumbs up to the tb shop who packed this until we almost cannot open. From now on, we will buy stuff that are solid and hard to break.

    Haha, songz.. i know u wanna a review of the table.. but not now.. coz.. unfortunately after chatting with the seller, it seems that the table needs 1 month to make then 1- 2 weeks to deliver to warehouse. anyway.. my ceiling is up! Super power uncle. My ceiling My id super coordinator. Today super busy day for him. Morning air con and ceiling, afternoon, send up tiles, got the hualage guy to send up the sand. All the whole time asking me to leave it to him. Before the trunking for aircon was up, i realized one thing, my trunking for the masterbed room toilet is going to affect my toilet cabinet that I got from taobao.. but my id asked me to rest assured and go for my meeting. let him handle the problem. he will solve it for me and make the cabinet flush against the wall.. Wonder how he is going to do it. the cabinet is stainless steel..
