our reno drains us physically and mentally too.. i was telling lurgee that i don't want to move house and go thru all these anymore. so tiring... can't wait for everything to complete!

i think by default they will replace to the usual hdb ones unless the contractor offer to change to a better one but have to pay for it.

never thought of taking pics while we were doing our selection. hehe... anyway here are some of the stuffs that i got from PJ, taken from their webbie. still got 2 toiletbowls with the "soft closing" seat, 1 white bowl basin for MBR and 1 square basin for common toilet.

oh.. ya i saw your toilet pipes in the pics. mine also got huge pipes there, take up alot of shower space. !! i got the RB38SV hob and RG972 hood.

latest updates... tiling had started and they had also constructed the half wall for the study and sealed up BR2 door. all my or-lulu floor tiles..... in the midst of tiling the living room and the half wall is up. lurgee said that it's "longkang water" tiles. kitchen was messy but tiling was done with the base for the tall unit and fridge. service balcony using the same tiles as the kitchen with the base for washing machine and dryer. common toilet tiles also done with shower kerb. tiling for MBR toilet also completed. we had gotten almost all the stuffs needed for our toilets and kitchen from PJ today. we tried asking for more discounts, but can't get. only got free rinnai steam cooker. hehehe...

for WIW there are the wood kind and the pole system kind. if you prefer less woody, maybe can go for those pole system wardrobe?

hi krisie, hehe.. that's great! both of us get our dad to do then can save some money. actually is quite alot, me save ard 2K. yup yup, wiring have to be up first before the false ceiling then the floor tiles. my painting also will be done by my dad and uncle, most probably in another 1wk+ time. ya i guess i will be going down tmr, maybe also ard 1pm.

yup, u have to be there together with ID and electrician to decide on the where u wan to place the switch where need electric point etc. ohh.. ur ID good ah.. mine have to ask, cos dunno when need to arrange to deliver wat and when to do aircon installation.. so we just have to keep calling him if we need to know anything lor.. u using gas heater for your toilets?

ya going to do it myself, seem like cheaper to do myself than buy leh. hahaha.. ya lor.. that time one of the sales i bought dove shampoo and conditioner, cos cheap mah.. then i buy few bottles, used so long still haven't use finish.. next time cannot be too greedy buy so many. hehehe.. after your reno done, u can fully concentrate to prepare your wedding already. at least won't be as stress as reno and wedding preps at the same time. i think tmr or sat i also need to go down to check on my reno status, whole week haven't go down and see yet. yup ID and my dad met to discuss about the lighting, power points etc on site, before my dad start doing those wiring.
