Hi all! I'm totally clueless about drilling holes in hdb wall. We just finished renk about a yr and the walls are still quite bare. Would like to put up some paintings to spruce up the place. Also need to install some more assesories in the bathroom as well as kitchen. Would appreciate if you guys can recommend me a drill that can drill concrete walls as well as into bathroom tiles. Thanks!

We renovated our place after 20 yrs. Did a major decluttering of our stuff before moving to temporary rental place for a month. Everything was moved to a storage facility which gives us 24hr access. I was glad we chose to move out instead of overhauling our place in phases while still living in. The amount of debri & dust generated from hacking and drilling is just not suitable for living. Going on vacation during renovation is not advisable as it's better to be around to monitor progress as well as make last minute changes. Also, my contractor wasn't very helpful about checking the appliances during delivery so I had to be there to receive delivery. There was a few instances where his workers made mistakes and we had to rearrange work flow. Changes to the renovation timeline happened almost every few days. Conclusion: MONITOR, MORNITOR, MONITOR. Don't take contractor's word that he will settle everything for you.

I second that. Mr Ang who served me gave very good advices pertaining to my needs. They have quite a large selection of fabric to choose from. I paid $1180 for 3 sets of black out curtains and 2 sets of black out roller blinds.

I used your info and contacted Warren. Very nice chap. Price is steeper compared to Helping Hands but I still engaged Soon Seng after comparing the interactions with Warren & the guy from Helping Hands. The latter was impatient during my call and didn't offer to come down for site survey. Warren however, came down twice after I updated him on items I forgot during his first visit.They sent 3 movers to move our stuff to storage. The movers were young local chaps, very punctual, quite experienced and polite. Most likely will engaged Soon Seng again to move the things back when our renovations are completed.
