Hi bigbag, I bought this bed frame from mattress atrium at city sq mall branch cost me $1k. Yes it is flat straight up with no curves or protruding. They will customize to meet ur mattress height. My mattress is 32cm I think. What is PU? I choose fabric for the frame.. Think u can choose those man made leather also if u like. Wow.. So now u got 2 dining tables? Do u plan to sell away the rect one?

Wanted to update on light installation, haha but I didn't take many photos cos some hiccups happened like 1 light tube broke, another light tube not working and 4 transformer also failed So in the end I only took pics on the corridor track light and my WIW track lights. Moreover I won't be able to switch on some of my lights after today till my carpentry is up cos the switch will be installed on the carpentry... I upgraded becos I feel the G23 copper is thicker and upgrading the drainage pipe is to prevent choking.

Actually the lamp looks really simple but I choose it becos of the super industrial look - something I was seeking for.. I was actually alittle unwilling to part with my 100 bucks for such simple structure but they refused to discount further claiming it's from France =.= So in the end I lost the battle and fork out my $110 Yup the lamp beside also looks good.. I found this light today, planning to use it as my dining light. Initially my contractor said he wants to DIY a dining light for me if I can't find my dining light. Hopefully this light is good for my place. Its the last pc and I will handcarry it to my place for installation tomorrow.

My aircon is done by Aron putt. 3.3k for 24+18+9btu with unlimited piping, upgrading of insulation, copper pipe from G22 to G23 and drainage pipe from 13mm to 16mm and inclusive of site survey + 2 trips Somemore this is bulk purchase price. maybe more ex than gain city but at least I can be rest assured that those nightmares that we heard so much of from GC will not happen to me.

Went to raffles city shopping center for lunch yesterday and was amazed by all the decor/renovation of those restaurants at B1. So many of them had the rustic and industrial element. Guess it is really the in thing now. For those who are into this theme, I recommend u to visit and walk around the area and be inspired by all those decor there. Not only the restaurants have fantastic designs some of those shops beside also look great! You might be able to copy some ideas here and there and incorporate it into ur house !!

And my hubby also objects initially however I managed to convince him and now he loves the mosaic wall as much as I do..

Thanks for dropping by too beezeebear! Your mbr basin is quite long IMO which is quite good in a way. My original hdb provided basin was small and defective. Many of my neighbors who kept that basin faced chicken pox issues with that basin which air bubbles start to appear all over the basin like it kana chicken pox. So gross thus made me super determined to change it.. Haha

Ya that's good idea for the partial false ceiling and Lbox, no need for whole unit false ceiling unless the false ceiling is having some design which becomes the highlight of the unit. Actually I dun really understand what is the cold feeling le.. But I have quite alot of cement hopefully mine won't turn out too cold. I try to complement the cement with wood.. Hopefully it helps.. Wow yr drawing is fantastic le.. How u do this kind of drawing?? Really great!! And it looks good and very scandi!! Yr kitchen cabinet laminate looks a little like my kitchen cabinet too.. I wonder did we really have the same taste.. ^^

Hi piknik, my mitsubishi inverter system 3 also cost me 3.3k with all the upgrading. You also intend to build concrete kitchen counter.. Hehe only for the sink area or all the counters like mine? Hehe what tiles u planning to use? For study room cum guest room if u plan to outsource to other company to do that hidden bed system maybe u can take yr time to source ba. Can do at later stage if not very shiong to do all at the same time. Ask ur guest to sleep on temporary mattress first ba..
