grand corpthorne waterfront is not that cheap lor.. is almost the same price with swissotel the stamford. actually my friend had a bad experience with swissotel the stamford and make them compensate him by give him more discount. Food wise so-so only. Still thumbs up for grand hyatt food.

In the end choose oriental becoz good perks, the coordinators work on sat, like their wedding themes, food looks sounds good also.. hehe.. grand hyatt coordinators only work on normal working days.. I tried to arrange of meeting up on sat afternoon, tio reject. Usually, more free on weekends. hehe. But is my dream place lahh.. good food, wedding theme is nice..

Have drop you a mail liao.. Shall give you a little feedback. Intercorn, I must say they have very nice grand ballroom. One of the nicest I seen so far. Reason I did not choose them because they categorized their pricing by auspicious dates. Happens that mine falls on their auspicious date. Hence more ex. I not sure if is me or what. Tried to bargine perks, but they refuse to give. Their perks not as attractive as compared to other hotels lika grand hyatt and oriental. So decide to give a missed. Btw, they wedding show just over, better perks are given that day.

I only reskin the borders of wardrobe and the side shelvings. Did not touch anything inside the wardrobe. You have to calculate whether is cheaper to reskin or rebuilt the wardrobe. Sometimes it really differs.

Don't worry patrick is prompt for all reno problems. I rem an funny incident. During my reno he went to dentist, plucking wisdom tooth. Then I kept calling him to ask things. He must have hated me then. My wardrobe is left by my previous owner. I just change the doors and did some re-skinning. Overall cost me 1.3k. my dining take is from Nova Furnishing. Cost around 1.2k.

haha... moving house is a tedious process... Found out couple of defects recently: - MBR windows unable to open (long time ago defect) - One of the wardrobe doors' roller having difficulty to slid smoothly (need to call up contractor.) - The instant heater is leaking. (Although not very serious, but the only way to fix it is change the whole thing?? ) Some outstanding things (NEEDED!) yet to buy: - Rice cooker - Ironing board - Hair Dryer - Clocks - Shelving for store room And lots of other misc things (WANTED) yet to buy...

The wines are me and my hubby's collection from DFS. Not house warming gifts lah.. I make sure my house warming gifts are useful to me.. hahaha..
