You can choose to do ABS trimming all round, full-core acrylic laminates or PU spray paint to eliminate the dark lines around the edges. Cheaper alternative is to touch up the dark lines with paint.

Although the L-box is slanted against the ceiling but if you compare to the aircon unit in the backgound it is quite level, it is best you use a leveling tool to check if your ceiling is slanted or the L-box and aircon is slanted. That is really not the way to do L-box, even a layman like me also know. And dont believe everything you see in forum, unless you know the owner or have visited the house to look at workmanship of tiler, plaster or carpenter. If you want to do high end carpentry works and would like to see the workmanship on my cabinets, that can be arranged privately. I suspect some t-blog are put up by contractors to promote their service, once you signed on the dotted line and paid down payment, white face change to black when thing starts to cock up.

To untidy and lazy people, any wardrobe is a NO NO, walk-in or normal.

Your grill should be installed like this the red color drawing while the curtain rod should be something like the blue color line. -
Kirk, mind telling me how many unit you install in the main bedroom, common bedroom and living room and their BTU? TIA.

That's a good idea. Just get aircon service regularly to avoid water leak from piping inside the trunking in the box up. -
That highlighted part cannot be change unless you want to change all the way down to void deck. You can try wrap it with PVC piping to make it look nicer.

The ugly aircon trucking can be cover up using window curtain, not necessary need to box up cos if water leak from aircon pipe in the trunking, are you prepare to tear up the box? You may need to approach those window curtain shop to see if they have any special bracket for your case; those off-the-shelve may not fit. -

Main bedroom is too small to accommodate a queen/king bed and a wardrobe, i will suggest open a doorway into the common bedroom to create a WIW cum dressing and study area; main bedroom put bed and feature wall for entertainment (big TV).

I hope you dont mind me asking, the wall tiles you selected is printed? Better check with tile shop to see if the wall tiles can use chemical (acid/turpentine) to wash and clean. Some printed tiles cannot use harsh chemical to clean, the print will get destroy or faded.

Yes, I'm using it at my new place, my in-law is using it, my designer is using it too. The workers that were testing out my bathroom were so surprise the water pressure is so shiok!

Here it is... If you want, I'll try to shoot one under sunlight, can see more clearly.

Oh orh... why your ID didnt suggest to you and the contractor to lower the dining table height by 10~12cm? You will have a tough time finding the right dining chair as normal dining chair is too low while bar stool is too high. Maybe you can try custom made bench.

My case no need down payment, no quotation, no 3D drawings. Go select tiles from White Horse, no need to pay a single cent. Hacking works started on 12 March, then sand, cement and tiles delivered a few days later. By end of first week, hacking all done and debris all cleared. By end of second week, tiling all done, plaster & partition all done. By end of third week, initial painting done, electrical done, aircon done, carpentry onsite measurement done, received first quotation from main con. By end of forth week, plumbing done, windows & grill done, received revised quote from main con. By end of fifth week, final painting done, main & bedroom doors done, carpentry installation all done except quartz counter top, paid $20K to main con. Move in on 16 April. 20 April, quartz counter top delivered and installed. It has been 3 weeks since we moved in, I am waiting for main con to collect balance payment of $6K and carpentry bill. 12 May, paid $20K to carpenter for carpentry works and quartz counter top.

I would suggest you change the aluminum windows (so many panels will cost quite a bomb), main door and bedroom doors, just dont hack away the door frames, especially the main door frame which is still very sturdy cos it was build into the floor. Main door should use half fire-rated solid wood (about $1200 (give you a rough idea)) with lock (see mine!); bedroom doors are cheap at about $270 each with lock (without door frame; door frame will cost you about $150 each).

It is CaesarStone 2141 Fresh White 20mm quartz. I was taught by the CaesarStone installer on how to maintain the quartz surface, how to remove if accidentally stained. I am at work now, no picture, will insert later, how would you like me to show close up?

Sorry Exman, my renovation is officially completed on the 20 April. To date i only paid $20K and it has already been 3 weeks, they didnt chase me for balance payment.
