  1. *pat pat* I'm sure this is a satisfying journey for you, to finally see your beautiful home come together! If it is not too troublesome, can help me find out that yellow laminate code number, or at least the brand? Thanks in advance!
  2. Good job! Now I am VERY JEALOUS of your green accordion lamps!
  3. Love the yellow laminate! May I know which brand is this? Is it those thick glossy type?
  4. Wet works finally started today! I thought nothing much to see when I pop by after work, but guess what, some of the 3D subway tiles are up already! The hollow block to seal up the WIW from the walkway is up too. Here's the view from inside WIW. Looking forward to meeting Alan tomorrow morning to discuss about tiling. Haven't seen him in quite a while!
  5. May I know where did u see the replica? That's quite ex for a replica! I plan to buy mine from here - http://www.scandinaviandesigncenter.com/ Hope that helps.
  6. Welcome to the club! You should be in good hands! Alan exudes this zen aura, that's why your wife feels safe and calm!
  7. Have been thinking if I should get this String pocket shelf. I like its simplistic yet chic look, it's a tad pricey though, one set of 2 panels and 3 shelves cost US$121. Or this Ikea shelf that is going for $95? One thing good about String is that you can move the shelves up and down according to your needs, but Ikea ones are fixed. Plan to use the shelf in the dining area, right above my dining bench. Will most probably display food/cooking related decor pieces eg vintage thermos I collected!
  8. YAY, wet works will start tomorrow! :sport-smiley-004:
  9. Hmm, don't mind if i interfere a bit... I didn't have good experience at RF leh. The bosses weren't keen to serve us, we were there first then another couple who bought from them came in. So the two bosses went to serve them and made us wait for quite long. We waited for a while and decided to leave, so thanked the boss and walked off. He didn't apologise or at least say some nice words.
  10. Now this makes me very curious how your entire house looks like! Post more pix after you move in can?
  11. The ikea table looks lovely! Maybe I can buy to put my cream retro fan on it! The door can be removed one right? As in, can I don't attach the door to it? How did your hubby distress the cabinet? Can share share?
  12. What a nice family of cat and dogs. It's so sweet that your kitty grooms your mini schnauzer everyday!
  13. CONGRATS! Told u Alan is good and will advise us to save money. He nagged at me a few times for wanting to change/add this and that Who served you at poh seng huh? Why nobody give me a crash course on anything. hurhur. I'm amazed Mr E actually agreed to the floral bedsheet.
  14. So cute! They actually pose together for you to take photo Gal, did you receive my PM? It is ok if you take your time to reply... just wanna make sure it was sent across, not like the previous time
  15. 16" only has cream colour. If you don't mind a smaller version at 12", the green one is nicer!! It's similar design but looks even more retro
  16. What about those E27 type of downlight that uses energy saving bulb, how do these compare to LED downlight?
  17. I know this may sound abit silly, but I will store them elsewhere! My WIW is a narrow rectangular shape... placing the dresser near the window and I don't want to put my skincare and cosmetics right beside the window!
  18. Lucky him. I should be getting this as my dressing table! There are a few colours to choose from... like the grey-brown and red! http://www.ikea.com/sg/en/catalog/products/60181521/#/40181522
  19. That weighing scale is cute! I was thinking of getting that kenwood kettle but there's only 1L available here...unless i order from uk, they have 1.5L! Can't decide on what colour to get though.... most of the colours look nice!
