  1. Satisfied with their moving services. Efficient and no fuss, came with the tools to do the work. Didn't see any damage to my flooring.
  2. Do a search for 轨道灯. I thought of getting from taobao too. But after factoring agent and shipping costs, it will be only slighty cheaper than in singapore, but more expensive than JB.
  3. I engaged them to move at the end of the month. The guy on the phone sounded very professional. Hope everything goes well. Will give an update after the move.
  4. I just did - Converted the old washroom in the kitchen to a storeroom and a storeroom outside the kitchen to a bathroom. Cost was $8000. Not a difficult task for the contractor, as long as your property layout allows for it. The key factor was the location of the existing I.Cs and whether your new bathroom's pipes could flow into the existing layout.
  5. I have three lights for sale, leftovers from the previous owner. They don't fit into my design theme, but others may want them. Hanging Light Matching Wall Light Hanging Light Base on the stickers on them, they are Made in Spain. Saw the same pair of matching wall lights selling at RM760 at Tampoi and was told that the material is marble. Looking for $300 for all three, self-collect at a mutually convenient location in the West. Interested, please drop me a PM.
  6. Same here. I bought the Philips 10W LED downlights and a LED wall light. Singapore selling the downlights for $58, taobao selling for RM 168. Got my items already. Came in Philips boxes, looks authentic, and all working.
  7. I also doing renovation right now. Got some LED downlights from taobao, and some from local shop (when they were on sale). But most likely will go for majority the PLC downlight because of cost and ease of changing. For PLC, you probably only need to change the bulb, which is easy and anyone can do it. For LED, if it breaks down, you have to change the whole thing (if it is an integrated set like the Philips type) or the driver/LED light. Not sure if you want to do it yourself or have to get an electrician to do it.
  8. Hi bro, Have finally decided what fans I want to get. Can pm me the price for the following two fans? 1) Franco F2(GM) 48" with the 18W LED 2) KDK V56K Thanks.
  9. Wireless solution will never be as good as LAN cables in terms of speed, security, bandwidth and reliability. The reason why you would go for homeplugs is because you have no other choice. Laying concealed LAN cables may require too much hacking or you don't want to have ugly trunking running along your walls or you prefer to save money in not laying cables.
  10. I thought so too. But went down a few days ago. The Philips LED downlight (10W) cost RM148. Lightings.com.sg selling for $58. Cheaper in Singapore. Some Philips lights in Tampoi are cheaper, but not by much. Some are a lot more expensive. Dun know why.
