Yup! We have the Mayer one. It's good, totally loving how convenient and non-oily/smoky it is. Also helps that the Mayer one is easy on the eyes

This has got to be one of the best housewarming gifts (the air fryer was a good one too)! We totally put it to good use over the weekend. Glad we eventually picked kinect (and that we have great people who are so generous with their gifts) and not the Wii

Haha juxstapose, more plates and forks for u to look at then! The pies are from Windowsill Pies! Local pie makers. They have a rather pretty cafe somewhere in Jalan Besar

Welcome to the North! I'm loving the neighbourhood and the greenery all the best with your reno!

I love textured laminates, especially wood textured ones. All the laminates in our place are texture one thing you may wish to note though: takes more effort to clean textured laminates cuz of the grooves. But the look is worth the effort! All the best with reno!

Post more pictures of the renovation process! All the best with your reno -
One's strawberry and lime infused water, the other's lemon and cucumber infused water, both with mint and some basil leaves. Very easy to make, and quite refreshing! Hahaha, I wish! We ordered those pies for our small party of friends. My friends thought I made the bookmarks explaining what the flavors are, haha! Not so talented unfortunately. The pies/tarts we make look very normal Speaking of which, our oven just got used for the very first time since we moved in! The boy made lemon tart

I'm using an induction stove, no hood. Not much smoke or grease at all, but of course, can't really stir-fry onions and garlic the way they should be stir-fried- 337 replies

Finally done with arranging Mom's room!

Our place is slowly coming together! Our first group of visitors come tomorrow. Our bathroom is already getting messy

We try our best la (I am an adoption counsellor at an animal shelter), or at least I do. But it's definitely still better for owners who really can't keep their pets anymore to do rehoming themselves. After all, they only need to find a new home for their animal. The shelters have to find homes for hundreds of animals abandoned by their irresponsible owners. So it's really good that u were responsible to ur dogs Thanks for being kind! Ur house has a lot of character! I've been silently trawling ur blog
-
Well, at least you did the rehoming yourself and didn't dump your pets at a shelter and it's good that you screened through the potential adopters. That's at least much much better than just abandoning your pets at the shelters and expecting the shelters to find new homes for them. So, good that you did what's right by your animals! Yup! Legs are from IKEA, table top is done and laminated by our carpenter. Much cheaper than many other study tables we saw available on the market!

Brown bookshelf is from Air Division. Got it when it was on 50% sale, so it was a really good deal. Otherwise, their things are pretty expensive (but I guess you pay for quality)!
-
Haha Good choice then! I got it from Kwerkee, but I think they sell it at novelty stores. Saw the same brand at Tangs and some other lifestyle shops, I think

Some of the tiles around the house...

Decorating the balcony...

We got some to place around the house! Smaller ones as coasters, bigger ones for display.

You should if you fry stuff often! It doesn't taste as nice as real fried food, but it was super easy to use, and our fries turned out really good!
-
Yup! Think they're called latticed windows. Six separate panels in one window? The Mayer one is on offer now at Tangs. A free fryer basket with every purchase (so you'll have two fryer baskets). It's $269. Cheaper than the Philips one I think! And much better looking
-
One housewarming gift comes early! We wanted the Philips one, but this is so much prettier!
-
Thanks Makanology! How are your windows going to be like? Tile shopping today! Finally a chance to drop by the two tile shops we've been wanting to visit. The sight of these tiles makes me happy Our bigger tiles getting a coat of sealer. We also got some of the smaller tiles. Can't wait to see them in action at home

Those aren't fabric, I used paper Why did you go through so much trouble to get the rabbit, then decide not to keep it because your maid is leaving singapore? Was it your maid's rabbit? I don't mean to be judgmental, but I can never understand people who get pets, then give up on them after a while. A pet is a lifetime commitment, it becomes a family member. we don't give up a family member just because we have no time. It's not about having time or not, nothing is impossible if we put in the effort. Sadly, a lot of people don't value the lives of their pets and choose not to put in the effort. Such people shouldn't even get pets in the first place. If you decide not to keep your rabbit, I hope he finds a better home
