hey jolene23 just curious, how many pple living in the hse? why need 50L water tank ah? i was only thinking of buying 15L leh... but sellers kept asking us to buy 30L ones. say only $20 difference why dun get bigger one. but our thinking is... bigger = use more electricity to heat up rite?

Yah. Those are what I will be looking out for. There are some SS ones but very limited design and color. Saw universal union webbie got some too. And guess wat, the pictures look exactly like those in TB. Wat a pity it's so late now. If not can order from TB. Actually I hate cleaning...love anything that requires low maintenance. That's why I never did like curtains. Lazy me. Initially wanna do blinds for living room and br3. Coz they are at the corridor. Now I'm thinking of just doing frosted window. No blinds or curtains. Only putting blinds in MBR and the br2 lo. I will check out this rainbow blind thing. If not suitable, I'll go for roller kinds anyway. Hihi razzberrie I think I'm quite ok with roller b linds coz my previous place I used the ikea type for abt 5 year. And still working fine. But they are not the rainbow kind la. Maybe that one harder to maintain. But thanks for sharing! Always love another point of view!

I'm using a 2in 1 hob. Ceramic cum induction. Bought in JB de. Brand is Sugawa. Anyone heard of it? Took a plunge coz of the duo function. And can use 13A socket. Unlike others. Makanology, u can still install fan. Turn on only after u cook lo. But hor... Using burning hob will be even oilier leh. More cleaning!

hahahha.... yes! one in the kitchen!!! i think that one will be spinning in oiliness. i got no aircon in living room leh... so need fans lo. now SG getting hotter and hotter. oh.. suaku me. never heard of rainbow blinds. but the word "fabric" puts me off. i scared collect dust. very hard to clean. that's why i die die dun wan fabric sofa. from your pic i see rainbow blinds oso roller kind. means can keep the blinds. can consider. ok. sounds good then! after hearing from u, im so glad i stuck to my choice. i wan a fan nearer to ceiling.. coz i'm using track lights mah.. if not a lot of shadows. and we're quite short.. maybe must jump then can reach. lol i think my ceiling is abt 2.7 or 2.8? coz highest floor. mine's a short blk. ok! look forward to your pics!

oh yah, jus4fun, wana check with you. how is the fan ah? some sellers say it's noisy. coz very near to ceiling. some say no wind ask me buy lower fans.

hullo jus4fun! full gear meh.. i buying low end items only leh. i know RT-ers got very high class taste. lol. ok will PM u in a while. i personally prefer 3 blades. lesser is better. 5 blades looks complicated. actually some shops sell both fans at same price! but i still chose the 3 blades one. ur place reno start le ma? ok. if Bosch is the way to go, then only 1 choice. if Mr B (budget) gets in the way, then i'll consider Ariston or Rinnai. think $450? ard there.

anyone knows if splitting delivery will cost a bomb? coz i thot of shipping some items over first. those items not yet reach amcon's GZ warehse will be in another deliver. anyone tried before?

Hi Alisa thanks for sharing. have you bought a built in oven? was looking at the more affordable built in ovens. any idea which brand is better? Rinnai, Ariston, Bosch or Delizia. they have ovens at $600 plus or lower.

The fridge? it's Samsung. can be found everywhere. i saw it at Courts, Best etc. but i bought mine from Mega. services sucks but I asked for it la. the story is.. the fridge comes with free gift (cbtl coffee machine). we placed downpayment at the Mega expo sale. so... to collect the free gift, we have to go down to Mega at Kallang to make full payment then take the receipt to free gift collection centre at suntec. So troublesome. problem is... i lost the receipt for the downpayment. the aunty at the kallang store kept scolding us. lol. it was almost hilarious. "how can you lose such an important document? now we have records, can help u reprint. if we dun have how? " she kept repeating the above. we just stand there and let her niam. Her name oso quite cute. "Ca*dy" hahaha.. me and my long story. the oven is used for simple baking like muffins & carrot cakes. Dont ask me for recipe if you're a health freak. lol. mine's really soft and oily. yumyum! then maybe the microwave is for heating up food quickly?

lol. ok. i think maybe i will get lazy after my reno too.
