well if ur not into fengshui then ok...cos mirror in the kitchen wil reflect the stove...no good. if ur into fengshui then better not...sori to pour cold water haha... maybe can try other alternative...i think the stripe stripe laminate got come in other colours also...since ur walls are pinkish...maybe can try red and white laminates with pinkish walls? patriotic somemore

hello fteocs.. if u scared the laminate for the doors will peel due to the usage, i assume u are talking about the sides of the doors right? actually to solve this problem the carpenters put thin wood panelling around the doors sides so no laminates are used at the sides..so if ur door is black can paint the side wood black also...

hello gingar... the reflection of the wall tiles u see huh...is not becos the laminate reflect leh...itz becos the light reflected off the wall tiles onto the laminate when photo was taken leh..dun mistaken..later u put liao dun have reflection u me haha... my kitchen dun look dark cos my flat is on 11th flr and opposite is clear so quite alot of light come in from the window... if u scared too dark maybe try brighter coloured glossy wall tiles to reflect some light?

actually only got 2 pattern to put the red chairs..wither both at the head of the table or at alternative sides of the table...nevermind lah can juz try later heh heh... yalor...think i better go in tommorrow nite to shift it somewhre else...

Thanx lifestyle. Actually i never strived to have interesting lights, so am a bit suprised that u find them interesting. I tot it was plain and boring haha...wanted to have more lights below tv console and some other places...but budget burst liao cut back on all these lighting points haha... thanx for the compliment applefreak... now hope that when they install all the other glass and mirror dun spoil the dining set can liao still unsure as to how to place the 2 red chairs...any suggestions?

Now only left with the tinted tempered glass, big mirror, kitchen top and some more painting to be done. After that i believe therez a lot of touching up to be done...should be done in less then 2 weeks more...

More pics taken today when TV and dining table delivered. All lighting ad electrical stuff has also been completed today... The cove light tubes changed and installed today... Light at bedhead of masterbedroom Hanging light at dining area... completed bedhead of my parent's room... the dining table and chairs delivered today... without the chairs...

hi tim_chenie, good to know u also did ur homework! then can rest assure later on minimize all the problem that may come...my house also got this problem...HDB officer came and saw say itz spalling..but contractor/ID say maybe itz leaking at masterbedroom toilet... now monitoring situation hopefully bo tai chi... the pics i took cannot really see the stripes clearly...but it was better then what i expected. The whole thing is very matt looking and if itz bright then can see the stripes. a point to note if u wanna use this laminate is whether u wan the stripes to go horizontal or vertical...i went with horizontal and i love it...

aiyah long story lah...think liao also angry... cannot take leave cos sat and sun not supposed to work...if need to go back means something really needs to be done on that day wan...but then again...what is more important then family stuff? my boss is a !@#$%^&*
