What brand is the kitchen sink and tap ? KITCHEN SINK & TAP INSTALLATION - CFO is over the moon with the kitchen flex-hose tap! And I am a very happy man because my dearest wife is so happy.. The entire tap is rust-free & feels solid when I use it; that's including the lever at the hand-held outlet. The water pressure is good too! The only drawback is that we were kiasu & chose to buy the longer version... Should have gone for the shorter variant because then, our future dish rack wouldn't have to put so high up... Luckily CFO & I are about the same height & not that short... Phew. Barely made it.

does POSH = expensive also?

told it's S/S but corrosion set in, now all got corrosion, but it may be true it is S/S but its low quality one. anywhere i can get good handles for kitchen cabinet? also i price sensitive one...

even at $900, if u save $15 a month from $50 of air con usage a illustrated above, u will still need 5 yrs to break even the extra cost! i am sure there are months of the yr where u dun on the aircon like now. so it will take u even longer to break even.

never get an inverter, the savings in electricity will take you yrs to just break even. Assuming u use $50 worth of air con every month and assuming it saves like 30% electricity so it is $15 saved every month. But the inverter cost nearly $1.5k more than non inverter model! it will take u 100 months = 8.3 yrs to just break even the extra cost for inverter model! 100month is assuming u use air con every day of the yr! but can the air con survive 8.3 yrs if u use it everyday??? Wan to be smart never buy inverter air con, unless u buy into quieter reasoning but to me my non inverter toshiba is very quiet already. Sales person will also push to u what make him most margin.

i would think it is better to use CPF $, as far as possible dun touch cash. cos i dun consider cpf $ as real $. i mean i cannot touch, can only see, cannot use. so i think y not use it buy comfy home rather than store in acct i cannot use, at least w comfy house i can touch and feel and enjoy. i mean when i sart work say 25 yr old, then wait til 67 then touch cpf, almost 40 yrs of waiting! 40 yrs a lot can change e.g. 1 guy went from 'Merdeka Merdeka' to 'Money Come! bot and install by All Best. i went thru IMM AB. but i bot mine around aug 2007, install in Oct 2007. AB does give the lowest price, we so shock by the low price compared to other shop, also we worried lousy. then we search around and found no better price than AB. so far so good. but i did remember when i came back to inspect the piping installation, i saw 1 piece of my wall they hack for piping not patch up, so i tok sarcastically to the tech ,' wow so big hole, who going to patch up huh?' they patch and so far so good. i remembered 1 month later a loud vibrating noise keep coming from the compressor, so i call for servicing, the toshiba tech came and say the cover of the compressor somehow went too close to the fan, so cause the noise. issue solved in 15min. i remembered the tech very nice advise me to spray water from back of the compressor once in a while to clean it, say it enhances reliability too. So far i try to do it once every few months or half yr when rain is heavy, so far so good and the air con has been great! i mean it's quite quiet and cooling, never had to go below 23 deg c to get my bedrm cool in 15min, maybe tis is subjective

i got sys 3 and another sys for living rm. the sys 3 is 900 btu for 3 rooms and the other 1200. but most of time only use 900 btu one, i like to now if possible for air con tech to install a switch such that i can switch between using 900 btu one and 1200 btu one. cos the 1200 btu compressor most of time is left unuse unless guest come visit. i feel wasted since so poweful and also exp but seldom use my air con is Toshiba multi Syst 3 non-inverter + 1 single split unit non-inverter 24kBTU possible to connect via valve that switch between the two pipes? i would not mind paying a bit for the mod

no need cos sometimes, when u boil thing, they over spill, not sealing the hib allows u to lift up and wipe below, if seal then the soup willseap into the crevice and stain teh silicon , can be difficult to wipe off
