In my case, it was not possible to pin point the exact sub-con who obviously drilled into the concealed gas pipe So I felt quite bad to blame it entirely on the main-con. Also after searching for the leak for 3 whole days - it was futile to pinpoint exactly where the leak was without hacking the wall to reveal the pipe. Decided to re-reroute the gas pipe and that was what was split 50/50 - I paid like 200-250 bucks la. So not that bad..

Yikes. From my experience, finding where the leak is just... painful. Especially for concealed pipes... The cost of locating and rectifying the leak was split 50/50 between me and contractor. FYI. Hope it is located swiftly for u. Best of luck!

I finally decided to create an accent wall in the MBR. However choosing a colour is very challenging! So with 3 hours of time and some help, decided to be brave and pick a colour. This is how it turned out - I like it a lot! After painting it, I found a website where all colours are listed, and for each brand of paint e.g. Nippon, they specify what is the name/code for that brand Very useful, though I wish I found it earlier! Link Also an update on what I did with my baywindow, I mean ledge. Lol And my fave item from latest tb purchase! The lamp is very sturdy and in order to adjust each arm, need an allen key so it's fixed in place. Good quality!

The rope really makes a difference! Are you going to remove the black chain and replace entirely with rope? I'm curious where to buy this sort of thick rope. Do keep us updated!

Hi iceage, it's been trouble free so far. Actually I did accidentally mark it with a permanent marker. Only realised many hours later. Freaked out and started scrubbing with surface cleaner and didn't work. However, I checked with the sales guy and followed his advice - came off with Ronsonol heh

Hey Makanology, I didn't buy anything from amazon for my home so far. I find the variety very overwhelming. And the stuff that I want from amazon always never qualify for free shipping Like this deer head Now just waiting for my final and small shipment of tb stuff. Regret not buying more because the shipping cost turned out not economical as opposed to when exceed 1 cubic metre. What's TB 1212? Never heard.. Am I going to be poisoned? Haha

Just echoing what has been said about kompactop. The two things I like about it - wood grain available and it's thin-ness so looks sleek. It made durable because of the resin and most stains can be removed using thinner, including tumeric (which has been the thing that stains even the toughest surfaces) The two things which you have be careful about 1. cutting on the surface, obviously will scratch 2. cannot put hot cookware on it directly - must have a trivet.

Really only hacking done. He just managed to hire some Bangla for a few days with ur 20k to do hacking. Sad. Suggest to terminate the contract in writing. Send all the pics as attachment as evidence that unable to deliver the milestones as per contract. If you add date into the pictures, even better. Hope your next contractor will be able to do a good job!

Thanks ladies! Actually they are fibreglass and pretty light! Not actual concrete. Just look (and feel) realistic.
