I think shopping on taobao and tmall + all the liaising on aliwangwang with the sellers and QQ with my agent definitely up-ed my chinese level a lot. Win-win! Cheap stuff + brush up my chinese at the same time But buying from SG has its pros as well. No lemon goods. I'm now crossing fingers my stuff come safe and sound!

True that. I think I saved more than $2450 SGD in total as compared to buying from SG. Should have chanced upon the TB group earlier... If so, I think I'd have bought my lights, toilet accessories, sink etc all from there. Greater savings! However having said that, I have also bought many things I wouldn't otherwise have bought in SG. The number of posters and frames I've purchased is definitely an overkill. I hope I have enough walls to hang them all....

Hi cuttiz, It could be slightly less than 90 degree as my ID placed a translucent stopper on the wall that is in contact with the door handle to prevent us from accidentally slamming against it. It's something that looks like this and is pasted on the kitchen wall: No stopper required to make it stay in place, once we opened it, it pretty much stayed in position.. Do you mean the wind in your neighbour's place is so strong that it blows open the door when it is supposed to be closed?
