Some Updates! ID informed the remaining work to be completed: - Shoe cabinet / divider - Granite top installation - Backsplash installation - Bedside tables - Display shelving beside my study table - Toilet vanity cabinets (the glitter grey coloured aluminium doors chosen are out of stock and only coming in end of the mth) - Cabinet in service yard He will be helping me install the following FOC when we're back in July: - Chandelier - Mount TV - Digital lock - Bathroom accessories So everything will likely be completed latest by end July and then I will start to TB the home deco and all other stuff we need in the new home! And... I will be able to take photos myself to show you guys by mid July! Meanwhile I got to survive my exams...

Hi ShinChan, I bought my LED downlights from Choon Ying Trading for $30 per piece. They come with 1 year warranty. If you are adventurous enough, will suggest buying from TB or even from reputable shops in Malaysia as it is a lot cheaper than buying from Singapore based lighting shops. Only con is that they do not come with warranty or even if the Malaysia ones do, will have to make the trip in to exchange. There are various renotalk t-bloggers that provide the relevant info for them. Hope this helps

Renovation Day 55 - 12 June More updates on our carpentry work The other view of my wardrobe with work in progress top compartments. Study table up and drawer in the midst of fabrication. We will be placing a glass cover on top of this table to prevent stains / scratches etc. Our kitchen cabinet doors were all up too. Bosch built in oven placed into its slot! Think the next step should be granite top installation followed by glass backsplash installation? Hubby was looking through the updates sent by our ID and went... wah, our carpentry so white? and i had to remind him that's actually already off-white, it can be even whiter!

You bought yours there? Any reviews on them? Nice, is it really anti-slip as stated in TB? I've shortlisted similar style of hanger too, but in grey to fit the house theme..

LOL, you won't face the issue in your new home! I'm going to get all the hangers from TB at one shot. Make sure all the hangers are alike even though mine's casement wardrobe as well

Renovation Day 54 - 11 June My wardrobe carcass is up! Think the top cupboards are not fixed yet. There's supposed to be storage on top too. This is only 5.5 doors. Another 2.5 more doors are not shown. Happy me!

Dust is one thing, the other thing to consider is also the need to put all our clothing, bags and shoes in a boutique like condition at all times. That's hard to achieve consistently! Your carpentry is coming up very nicely, camping for more pics
