  1. Thanks Mr Chong. I didn't include fish tank in my floorplan. Was thinking that perhaps you may advice us on this. How about placing them against the wall behind the dining table? You mentioned "If study rm not use for whole day, can use rm 3". What if we use it every night on weekdays and almost whole day on weekends? In the event where we use it for whole day, what is the implication? Or do we use other room as study instead? Hmm... balcony don't put plants, do we avoid plants totally? or can we put plant in the living room and the access balcony?
  2. oh when i said agar agar, the diff is probably +- 0.5 degree. i try to visualize a straight line from the direction i am facing with the line in the compass. hopefully won't result in too much diff in the classification
  3. mine should be the same as yours. I also need to align the needle to the north before taking any reading. then based on the direction i face, i agar agar take the degree line that point to the direction i face
  4. Found this Initial Opening of Door procedure on geomancy.net Did you all do all that Procedure: 1) Door open by facilitator - ALL call out " PING AN FA CHAI ", then throw in PINEAPPLE (x1 pcs); then facilitator hand over the keys. 2) Prepare RICE and GREEN BEANS - Husband & wife (no outsiders except for own or family members can be around) to sprinkle ALL over the house - Mix the rice and green beans together. (Leave a "cup-full" of green beans - for later placement at the living room area). - During this procedure, make sure that no outsiders are inside the home. - For example, if it is a condo, the condo facilitator must leave the apartment. Own family members can remain eg. parents). - The purpose is to "sow" wealth into the apartment. Thus, it is not a matter of sprinkly lots of rice/beans but rather, try to sprinkle all over the apartment inclusive of the toilets/yard. 3) Prepare FA GAO (x2 pcs - can be brown, yellow or pink). If white colour FA GAO make sure that a circular red paper to be stuck/placed on top of the FA GAO. - Place one FA GAO in the middle of the room - while the other FA GAO with 3 oranges and 1 red packet with some money e.g. 2 dollars, 20 cents or 80 cents will do - on top of the kitchen stove. 4) Prepare 5 types of FRUITS (include the PINEAPPLE, ffice:smarttags" />ORANGE/ KUM, RED APPLES, RED GRAPES, BANANA). AVOID: PEARS ONLY. - Grapes should preferably be purple or reddish. But not green or black coloured grapes. - for countable fruits such as oranges (Kum) & apples please purchase 5 each to be placed in the middle of the living room. For a bunch like banana, or grapes, no need to count. 5) Prepare TEA LEAVES (tie kuan yin) and place it in the middle of the living room. 6) Prepare COTTON WOOL, WATER and a DISH for germinating the GREEN BEANS and place it in the middle of the living room. Item# 3 - 6 : These are to be placed at the middle of the living room. 7) In addition, at the 4 corners of the LIVING & DINING room, place a set of 2x ORANGES + 1x Red Packet of 20cts - total : ORANGES x8 + RED PACKETs x4 8) In addition, at the KITCHEN, place FA GAO x1 and ORANGES x3 on the stove. - with an ang pow with 20cents or 2 dollars or even number notes/coins will do. - Do not sweep the floor on the three days of placement. For example, if placed on Saturday, only sweep the floor after Monday i.e. from next Tuesday onwards ONLY. - After this date, all the ang pow money can be used to purchase sweets or sweet-drinks for own family consumption.

In addition, would also like to find out the following: - any missing corners - sink, stove, washing machine and fridge placement (is the layout in the floorplan ok? if i want to put the fridge at the stove area instead and the stove shift to opposite side, facing the fridge, is it possible?) - placement of MBR cabinet and bed - placement of shoe cabinet at the right side of entrance - placement of fish tank - which room suitable to be use as study room - suitable colors - previous owner told us that her FS master said kids cannot sleep in bedroom 3 because will clash with mother, is it true? our information are as follow: male owner's bday => Sep 1971 female owner's bday => Sep 1977 readings (see red circles in floorplan): 1. main door facing out => SE 105 deg 2. take 3 steps back facing out => SE 95 deg 3. side of house with most windows, facing window => NW 285 deg 4. center of house, if face balcony =>NW 285 deg, if face main door => NE 55 deg my floorplan is as follow. i have include some placement that i planned view taken from corridor just outside the main door view taken from balcony Thanks and regards Celest

  14. there is a wall facing my main door. thinking of painting the wall green or brown, then hang a black or dark color string curtain on the wall. instead of using the normal lights, i intend to hang 2 vietnamese silk lanterns (probably use red/purple/green/orange) http://www.vietnameseartwork.com/itemList.aspx?GroupID=208 however, was wondering if there is any fengshui implication if i hang lantern at the foyer. i know white lantern is for funeral, so i avoid using white. how about other colors? don't want to end up attracting unwanted things

  18. I read in this thread all the good things on Ho Bee so far only problem seems to be chasing him for quotes. With regards to work wise, is there any delay in his work? As in once he confirm a schedule will he keep to it? How do you all normally proceed to get Ho Bee? You get quote , sign the contract then bring him to the flat or you bring him to flat, get final quote, then sign contract? -celest
  19. Have a question on Stove and sink placement The existing owner and the owner before her, both got FS master to look through and the sink and stove placement are now like this ( blue is the sink, red is the stove) I want to build a service balcony cause the flat does not come with one. So I am going to tilt the sink 90 degrees Can anyone advise me which one is more feasible for me from the 2 options? Should I place the stove as it original position and just move the sink like I wanted to or should i move the stove back to the other side of the kitchen since its no longer faceing each other but 90 degrees to each other Thanks -celest
