Thanks Mr Chong. I didn't include fish tank in my floorplan. Was thinking that perhaps you may advice us on this. How about placing them against the wall behind the dining table? You mentioned "If study rm not use for whole day, can use rm 3". What if we use it every night on weekdays and almost whole day on weekends? In the event where we use it for whole day, what is the implication? Or do we use other room as study instead? Hmm... balcony don't put plants, do we avoid plants totally? or can we put plant in the living room and the access balcony?

oh when i said agar agar, the diff is probably +- 0.5 degree. i try to visualize a straight line from the direction i am facing with the line in the compass. hopefully won't result in too much diff in the classification

mine should be the same as yours. I also need to align the needle to the north before taking any reading. then based on the direction i face, i agar agar take the degree line that point to the direction i face

Item# 3 - 6 : These are to be placed at the middle of the living room. 7) In addition, at the 4 corners of the LIVING & DINING room, place a set of 2x ORANGES + 1x Red Packet of 20cts - total : ORANGES x8 + RED PACKETs x4 8) In addition, at the KITCHEN, place FA GAO x1 and ORANGES x3 on the stove. - with an ang pow with 20cents or 2 dollars or even number notes/coins will do. - Do not sweep the floor on the three days of placement. For example, if placed on Saturday, only sweep the floor after Monday i.e. from next Tuesday onwards ONLY. - After this date, all the ang pow money can be used to purchase sweets or sweet-drinks for own family consumption.

ours was -hack and tile 3 bedroom, living, dining, kitchen, study, balcony -hack and tile kitchen and 2 toilet wall -change all windows/grill to casement -replumbing -rewiring -painting -MBR Wardrobe -kitchen cabinet I got quotes from Summit, Ho Bee, Ideal, Impress21, Intra, Barqoue I thought carpentry was the most expensive..turns out hacking and tile is more exp

After looking through many many quotes, finally narrowed down to 2. One is a contractor and one is a ID Their quote is about 2-3k difference. Surprisingly the ID quote is 2-3k lower then the contractor one We are doing minimum carpentry (Kitchen Cabinet+MBR wardrobe) but hack all the floors to replace . So is the 32-35k a lot? -Celest

I read in this thread all the good things on Ho Bee so far only problem seems to be chasing him for quotes. With regards to work wise, is there any delay in his work? As in once he confirm a schedule will he keep to it? How do you all normally proceed to get Ho Bee? You get quote , sign the contract then bring him to the flat or you bring him to flat, get final quote, then sign contract? -celest

Have a question on Stove and sink placement The existing owner and the owner before her, both got FS master to look through and the sink and stove placement are now like this ( blue is the sink, red is the stove) I want to build a service balcony cause the flat does not come with one. So I am going to tilt the sink 90 degrees Can anyone advise me which one is more feasible for me from the 2 options? Should I place the stove as it original position and just move the sink like I wanted to or should i move the stove back to the other side of the kitchen since its no longer faceing each other but 90 degrees to each other Thanks -celest
