Usually how many times do you view the flat? Do you engage FS master to view after first viewing? Some friends told me i have to view once in the day and once in the night, but does the seller allow view so many times?

jj2, if i am not wrong, i am staying just below you, i thought it was you and i did went up wanna to ask whether are you still renovating, but no one was at home, cos its so bad that sometimes it wakes my little boy. Sometimes this banging and knocking also occurs at 12am to 1 am. Quite frustrating. Maybe we should and and find out who is it.

Anyone knows about this mechanism where we can install at our windows to prevent it from opening too wide? Where/who can i find to install it?

happy, dun worry, u not offending me cos my dog is indoor trained!!! hahaha.. Only poo at home.. But its true, alot of dog poo around the area, we had to make sure our dog dun go near the poo also.. But didn't managed to catch the dogs at the act when we walk our dog. Onepostwonder, I am sure we are talking about the same unit.. hahaha.. But recently they like quiet down already.. Basically as long as the dogs are not noisy, we cannot be bothered how many dogs or what breed they keep..

Hey, so everyone heard this dogs barking, confirm is #164, and we know which floor, the owner got not 1, not 2, but 3 dogs.. 1 big, 1 medium and 1 small.. Not that we kaypo, but cos, we also have dog and afraid that pple thought is us, cos a few times i found pple walking to my front door and then my own dog bark.. Actually how to tell the owner to bring his dogs for long walks? Cos most of the time dogs bark due to boredom. If they will regularly walk their dogs, there shouldn't be a problem with the barking.

I also ever saw a lady driver who drive at fast speed in the carpark, did not switch on her car's headlight (carpark was rather dark and the lights were not on yet) and then ignoring a car with headlights on and was coming out of their lot, and just nice, beside that outgoing car, there was a lorry and guess it kinda blocked that car's view and instead of slowing down to let the car go down, she sped up and that outgoing car nearly crash into her car... Even though she had the right of way, but she shouldn't be driving so fast in a carpark and without even switching on her headlights, how to inform other car owners who is turning out that she is approaching.. Luckily we were at the opposite side and saw her speeding, initially we thought she will slow down, cos the other car had already on the headlights and going out... Haiz.. sometimes really wonder are these drivers really so rushing for time? or they are just plain reckless...

Hey jaCKY777, A number or most of our neighbours done the welding of bolts liao, lets give the benefit of doubt to the welding uncle. Many of them do find their gates tighter after the welding.. And at one time, i was contemplating to weld my gate bolts also, but the uncle never came, then when he finally came, i don't want to do it liao and he like knocked on our door for few months until last weekend we finally opened the door...

No lah, i think asylum_ship means hack care the uncle, not hack (kill) the uncle lah...

asylum_ship, i also didn't do the bolts and from end jan, after i moved in, without fail, every sat and sometimes sun, the uncle will come and knock the door, so i ignored it for 6 months till last sun we doing house cleaning and opened the door and saw the uncle. He even got print out an article from the news paper and say that must change bolts to the gates so that can deter burglary. Then i said, "no need, i dun want, thank you". The uncle very persistent, somemore say "All your other neighbours in this floor had done already, and do u know that so many break-ins had been occuring in this estate?", i replied by saying "Yes, but i know, but i still dun want to do", the uncle then say, "You know got break-in, still dun want to do, then your house may be the next target." Then i very angry liao, i told him, "I don't want to do and my house got nothing, so if the burglar want to visit, then good luck to him." Then i close the door... Sorry for the long long story, just want to blast it out, cos wanting to do welding of the gates or not is our own choice mah.. If i dun want to do, just let it be right, why must curse that my house will be the next target.. So angry with that uncle, if my house really kena break-in then must be the uncle is in cahoots with the burglar.. I guess many neighbours here will want to ask why i don't want to weld the bolts, cos i did check with a few people, first, my ID told me to save the money, then my insurance agent say better don't modify the gates, cos i had bought home protection and if i had did any modification to the gates, then it may have some issues when claiming since the welding uncle is operating by himself and there is no concrete proof or letters issued by HDB that welding the gate is indeed more secure and by modifying the gates, you can't sue HDB or the gates manufacturer when there is a need to, since the original gate had been modified... ***Really no offences to those who had did it already, its up to individuals whether to do it or not.

Jacky, really kudos to you... Managed to get so many old photos of Toa Payoh, really brought back some fond childhood memories.. My grandma used to live in Toa Payoh and mama will bring us to visit her every weekend, Toa Payoh central was a must pass by place every week.. After my grandma passed away 10 years ago, we didn't really visit Toa Payoh very often anymore.. Recently, we went to Toa Payoh Gardens for dinner, the park didn't change much, but its some what different now.. Can't really describe the feeling, but its just not the same...

But cannot say dumb to on the modem whole day, i know many pple on the modem whole day to surf even without telephone line and my friend who signed up the Mio plan from another sales executive, he told her that switching off the modem frequently will cause the modem to breakdown faster and the electricity usage is not alot.. So, its up to the individual to evaluate on their needs..

Quite sometime never log in, so many pages to catch up.. My toliet bowls also choked a few times when we just moved in, after staying for 6 months, wow, half a year liao (didn't even realised), then now ok liao.. Probably take some time for the pipes to get used to usage bah.. My home is using MIO plan too, find it quite worth it, but we opt out from the modem telephone line and used their analogue type (normal type), just plug the telephone in one.. Can be done, just tell the Sales Executive, but i think need to pay something, can't really remember, cos that time, it was hubby's friend who was working in Singtelshop, helped us with it.. He recommended us to take the usual telephone line instead of leaving the modem on all day..

So not automatic, aiyoh, hopefully the wind blow away all the clothes then they will not hang there liao..

For what i remember, for break-in, got some money for the lock and door and also have for hp, and valuables up to a certain amount. The main reason i bought is because of Fire, will pay everything plus reno and hotel stay.. Also if the fire affect the neighbour, and neighbour sue, will also pay by insurance.. Its up to individual on insurance view, for me, i rather pay for "Just In Case"...

This is so dangerous.. I thought with the opening of the coffeeshops downstairs, our area will be more crowded and the theives will back off.. But seriously, the way our house are structured give very good opportunities for them to break-in.. Its like 1 to 1 and in a corner..

I still haven't done the welding of the the bolts and nuts of the iron gate.. Really can prevent break-in meh?

For your info, dun based on the clarity of the tvs in the department stores, tats because, they are using a higher grade cable then the one HDB provides and thats the reason why the tv is always clearer when at the shop then at home..
