  6. hehe binzz, so our cooking time is almost the same. i wasted some time on the vegetables cos i turned the fire to the max. Pour in oil for abt 20 secs only, then throw in garlic into the wok. Guess what? the garlic immediately become black! didnt know that max fire can be so hot.. my cooking utensils (the thing people use to stir and cook) melted! I just bought from OG at $6+ and it states that it can withstand heat of 240 degree. Was surprised to see it melt..lol!! then need to cut the garlic again and use smaller fire ya agree that if we cook chinese food will be cheaper than spaghetti. heh cos rice is v easy to cook. plus 2-3 dishes can already
  7. hi bro, this painting i got it from "pheng zhong hua" fsm shop (that master who appear in the tv during CNY). He got a shop at Tiong bahru plaza and IMM fsm told me to paste 3X$10 old notes behind the painting er was told that it was made of "liu li" (the green colour thing that looks like jade), thus the price quite exp..can faint (i took 4 months to consider and finally decided to buy it. $1057. Took 12mth interest free installment @ $80+/mth lor. hope that i can earn back this $ from investment or lucky draw keke) went to bencoolen,fu lu shou and fortune center to look for 5element painting. Only 1 shop sells but they dont have stock already and they duno when will the stock come. Their price is abt $100 (without the liu li and different design compared to mine)
  8. yup yup, the 5elements represents fire water wood earth and metal my fsm told me to get this, had a hard time sourcing for it cos not many shops sells. let me calculate the cost ah: 1) spagatti sauce - abt $5.50 2) spagatti noodle - abt $2 3) Soup - $2 4) vegetable - $0.95 5) ham - $3 ya abt $14 lor.. lol. exp hor
  9. First time cook..hehe was fun cooking together with my wife. But we took 1hr 20mins to prepare all these..spent abt $14. Not worth the $ to cook at home but ok lar, most importantly is to enjoy the process
  10. my 5elements painting..hang at the 2nd wealth location. Brings good luck for investments,4D,toto
  11. hi graciegal, er, what i heard is totally different from fcp, i may not be right cos i heard it from many salesperson selling the washing machine.. Front load - Requires more electricity and more water also. (Explanation below). Front load cleans ur clothings better Top load - Requires less water eventually. Eg. It uses 2-3times 40L of water. It is not as clean as Front load. Requires more effort to iron clothings. Though during comparison, u always see from the display that it uses eg. 50L litre of water. So people tends to look for as low number as possible. But this is not accurate because: eg. Top load display says it uses 60L. Front load displayed 50L of water. People will misunderstood that front load saves more water. But in fact its not true We have to zoom into how many cycle of wash there is. Top load requires lesser cycle of wash. Front load needs more cycle. So if say top load uses 2 cycle, then 50L * 2 cycle = 100L in total Front load uses 3 cycle. then 40L * 3 cycle = 120L in total get what i mean? heh quite difficult to explain, but this is what i heard from 2 different sales person who recommended me which type to get
  12. Bro here is the links http://www.objet.sg/home.htm was recommended by one of the forumer here. he bought some rugs at $275 each http://www.evovliving.com/ alot of rugs are selling at $350. both shops above sells similar kind of rugs hope this helps

  14. bro, good to hear that u got ur refund back
  15. totally agree with you Apple 姐! nowadays everything so exp.. credit card helps u get rebates from 0.5% to 5%. Different credit card serves it purpose well. most importantly, dont roll the balance
  16. answer is yes or no up to individual i will prefer my wife to be in the room first..then come down at abt 830pm to march in. this will create a wow effect..cos most of the guest are waiting to see the beautiful bride
  17. posted this 4mths ago, bring this up again..this may be useful.. hi happy, so sorry to hear abt the lightings..hmmm maybe u can go to the shop to ask them to revise the price or give u a few more lightings in return? just for a rough guide.. plc lights ranging $20-$30 ceiling lights ranging $60-$150. Anything above $200 will be v exp..unless its super nice designer lightings. most importantly is ask for discount item by item do not happily accept total discount cos item by item will eventually save u more. Eg. The shop says "ok i give u discount $200 on all the lightings. A person may be so happy that he say ok loh". But actually if u zoom into each single lighting and ask for further discount, u may benefit more. This is an important advice.. if ID is going down with you, 90% u will buy the lightings from that shop cos most pple trust their ID recommendations. The rest will be your negotiation skills with that shop already
  18. my wealth location, the jade piece of item is named duno what dragon something
  19. hi kbp, approximately how much per piece of carpet?

  23. $300 for 3 consecutive months..get $30 cash (i think so..cant remember) however, eg if u fulfill 2 mths requirement of $300 already, your 3rd mth u short of a few dollars, u cant get the $30 cash and all your previous spending will not get anything (wasted). So u will be eager to spend more to hit the $300 per mth requirement in my opinion UOB one card is to encourage people to spend more..i stop using it after 3 months of experience best card in my opinion is.... Citibank dividend card. just got $90+ cash for my previous 3 mths spending
