  1. I also highly recommend House of Chandelier. I've got their lights from them sometime end 2014. Now all the lights still no problem. Their after sales support is great too. Just last month, one of the lights stopped working. They really did send someone down after I called them regarding the issue. Then they found out that the lights wasn't working because of loose connection due to poor installation by my electrician. Even when it's not their lights problem, they still came up to my door to resolve the problem. And the best part is, they didn't charge me anything for something that's not their fault. Feel so paiseh then lor. So for the great after sales support, I highly recommend anyone to House of Chandelier.
  2. Sorry, have been really busy and did not notice your questions. Don't think I can post the link here. You can PM me for their contact. Or try googling House of Chandelier. You should be able to find them.
  3. I've shared in other thread before. For LED lightings, better to get from shops with good warranty one. My friend got one from one of the shop at Geylang at $22 per piece. End up within 6 months, 3 out of 10 spoil liao. Even though still under the 1 year warranty. She don't have the time and energy to keep going down Geylang and also to replace the downlights is no joke! So end up she found House of Chandelier who provide 2 years onsite warranty. I also got my lights from them too. It's been more than 6 months, my 23 downlights all still going strong. My friend on also all still good. So better to go for warranty then those super cheap ones. Don't end up like my friend who end up spending alot more money! Questions on downlights have been asked many times in this forum. You can find more opinions from this thread. http://www.renotalk.com/forum/topic/45228-such-a-pain-to-shop-for-led-down-lights/
  4. Did some comparison before. The price difference not worth it. I got mine from House of Chandelier. Also 2 years warranty, Somemore it's onsite warranty. Cheaper and more convenient. Think osram Philips, this kind is pay for the brand, for the advertising only
  5. Just that when u use induction, remember to bring a magnet when u shop for pots and pans. Make sure the magnet can stick onto the pots or pans. If not it won't work on induction hob
  6. Induction Cooker is so much better! Less warm in the kitchen, and also safer! No need to worry about gas leak. And it takes a much shorter time to boil a pot of water
  7. Mine is new HDB leh. The door frame looks like rust leh. Isn't the door frame supposed to be wood? Also sand and primer then paint?
  8. I have been using the Thomson washer cum dryer. 3 years + and still going strong. But I don't use dryer often. Only in times of emergency
  9. Make sure u get good warranty one. I got mine from House of Chandelier. Comes with 2 years onsite warranty. I already have friends who replaced all their cheap led downlights with quality one from House of Chandelier.
  10. Highly recommend getting quartz!! Have been abusing my place quartz for more than 6 months. Placed boiling hot pot of soup directly on my quartz countertop, happily open my can on the countertop without a cloth between the can and my table. Sometimes cutting apples/oranges on my countertop. Amazingly, it's still scratchfree and in great condition! But as mentioned, it comes with a price. Double the price of solid surface top
  11. Your 3D drawings look amazing! Love your shoe cabinet in your foyer! Looking forward to your completed house!

  13. I tried getting my sofa from TaoBao. Totally not worth it. There was error in measurements. End up my sofa not flushed. And my leg was knocked. So now abit unstable. End I got rid of the TaoBao sofa and bought another one in SIngapore. Super waste money!!!
  14. If you are familiar with transformer, you can get irobot from USA. SO MUUUUCH cheaper. but need transformer to step down. Cause USA is 110V, ours is 220V
