    Actually the lizard issue is not that a problem, most condo all have false ceiling installed, if the insect issue is a major one, why would the condo in Singapore still build them.

    I spurce I source my own its cheaper but more troublesome cause need 3 trips lolOne for site survey One for laying of trunking and cable Last one for installation of compressor and fancoil. So far from my experience, all best offer the best price and they are the only one i know so far that offer 60 months workmanship warranty.

    The toilet bowl i brought is a free standing type, it looks like the normal type but instead of using a s-trap connector, the toilet bowl i brought use a p-trap connector thus its not consider a suspend toilet bowl. I dont like those suspend type, its more costly and higher labour cost. And most importantly, i saw in shopping center those suspend type after a while become loose and might drop out anytime.. haha dont want **** halfway, the toilet bowl Fall. The free standing toilet bowl using p-trap connector i buy at only 699, previously got id told me if i want to relocate the toilet bowl position, i have to die die buy those suspend type because they uses the p-trap connector and suspend toilet bowl cost 1k and above. Actually after visiting the wc shop, you can find suspended type from 800 onwards.

    For me i ask the id to erect a low wall because i want to cover the additional pvc pipe, if not it will look ugly. If one person dont mind the pvc pipe exposed, you dont need to spend that money, my id quote me 600 for the low wall with tiles include labour and tiles cost. The additional pvc piping he quote me 250 include labour and installation.

    And one thing, you cannot change the wc orginal piping system as it will affect the floor below you, but what my id did was to use the existing point and by using a p-trap connector and additional pvc piping to link to the original wc pipe position. There was no change make to any structural slab or flooring thus dont need any pe. Those id that tells you change wc position need to get pe endorsement is unless you change the entire piping original position (landed or private property), but for hdb, its impossible cause the original piping position is from ground floor all the way to the top. You cannot just change your own level, it will affect the top and bottom unit for hdb.

    For bto flat, its already box up. So its common nowadays. For resale, people worried for HIP, home improvement programme offer by hdb currently offer for flat 25 years and above. Before i decided to box up, i call up hdb and they told me that starting july, they no longer change those big pipe if they are already those pvc type. If there is no leakage or crack to those pvc pipe, they will not change it. Formally in april, my uncle house was due for hip. He opt in and they change the existing pvc pipe, they cut a big hole from each floor, remove the entire pipe from all the storey and put in through, and then patch up the ceiling and floor. In regards to the waterproofing, if you buy a resale and renovate your toilet, as long the waterproofing is done properly, when the HIP come, they will conduct a water test. If you pass you can opt out of the HIP. Even if you fail, you can still opt out provided you sign a imdemnity form with hdb. You can then ask your contractir or id to rectify it.

    Per set is 50. Total 8 set. I choose red and black because i want a loud kitchen haha, more feel when i am cooking and baking. Just kidding, actually wanted white with red, but white not too good for heavy cooking, especially asian cooking styles. And i personally think black with red really make the kitchen stand out. If not it is so dull.

    Lol, illegal, i never even touch the original piping position. Ask them to quote in hdb rules to say that i cannot add a pvc pipe on the surface to another place within the toilet area. Seriously those id who told you that. Please voice out their company name. Those people who let them do their house should be worried. They dont know what can do and what cannot do. Haha

    So far I dont feel it leh. haha I think the workmanship is good. I must give credit to my ID, Mr L, so far every day I go to the house to take picture without fail. And everytime I spot something wrong, I just whatapps him and tell him about the error, the next moment he call his workers and they rectify the problem. Nice.. he sure sian got me as his customer.. haha Where got house owner every day go to the house to see the renovation progress de.. But for me, I find it easy to rectify mistake immediately then wait until mostly done then go and check for mistakes. By then, it will be harder to rectify and even if can rectify, it would be as seamless as I want it to be.

    Yap ,My ID he is a very experienced man, he told me he did for his clients house, so far no issue The bracket is solid as it hold the entire wood thus it does not rest on the bottom piece of wood. He say if after years of usage, just need to replace the top wood I forgot what wood he use haha.. Will asked him later.. But when I feel it just now at the house, its solid... Not like those wood used by ikea. Anyway, I will put a floor mat cut to the size of the wood slightly smaller, to prevent damage to the top wood as well The LPG gas tank is metal and the bottom part will have rust i think, so as not to have any stain on the wood.

    The kitchen you also choose bright red with white, just that i choose black with red. Because I like cooking and baking (although I am a guy), actually guys can cook better .. haha later all the ladies start fuming me once I type this.. If I choose white, very fast it will turn color haha based on the high cooking volume I will be doing in my wonderful kitchen

    Mine is removal of all existing tiles in the entire house flooring and thus need to screed the entire house 1000 over square feet
