Too tired after packing books into the bookcase & set up the mirror. Next time ba haha. My parents brought over our Amazon loots tonight! Finally have proper knives! Been using steak knife to cut meat/fish/veg the last few weeks Loving the cutlery trays too Most things are already in place. Hope to take photos of our completed place to share with you all soon

    I am also noob as it's my first time buying and installing hood... my parents use one don't seems to be so complicated. The pumped out air are the filtered air/fumes/steam suck in by the hood during cooking.

    Carpenter finally came yesterday evening to fix our hood issue. Now it looks much better / acceptable! No more big ugly holes around the hood... This is what they did inside to pump out the air on top & keep the cabinets from getting greasy... Also, our Amazon loots has arrived! I had them sent to my parents' place though...so haven't get to see the items.

    I loveee lemongrass too! Where to buy cheap lemongrass tea leaves for deodorizing? My kitchen cabinets still smells even though i've air it. ><" And it sting my eyes too - which i think are those chemical residue. Does this happens to you as well?

    Hi there! I also realized that when i ignite the flame, it will go off. I need to turn 1-2 more times and it will come back. But i think it's because i haven't catch the correct way of doing it (only use it once/twice to date lol). However, i like the flame power of the hob! Cooked fast & well

    I also notice the IKEA cutlery tray too big (depth wise) for my cabinet after i measured I thought it will fit as i thought most carpentry should be the same depth measurement. How wrong are we. So i bought from Amazon... hope it works haha. As for the backsplash issue... did your carpenters give u any solution to make it look better? Maybe can ask them to find a more matching piece and replace it?
