  1. i was abt to post that too Never give the main door key to your ID/contractor. They can duplicate one set for themselves and break into yr house. That is why they always lock the door with those locks with number codes.
  2. didn't hear abt that leh my friend's house was follow closely by the ID and same as one of the showflat we show.
  3. we were deciding between shirley and another ID but eventually chosen the other 1. She is more experienced than this ID but i felt that her package is too expensive. The basic package already cost $8000-9000 where almost half of the things i don't exactly need. Her additional items are the cheapest across the ID i had shortlisted but becoz of the basic package, the overall price blew my budget. Kept telling her her price is very expensive but each time the revised quotation come back more and more expensive. A bit disappointed coz we can click quite well but $$ is the main deciding factor.
  4. i thought instant heater must install near to the shower head??? at least mine is. Haha, sorry ah very mountain turtle 1 me. centralised heater can install rainfall shower!!!
  5. i doubt the hot water pipe serve kitchen too. Only the 2 toilets. i checked with the ID. He say can be done by doing a pipe to link to the kitchen sink but it will be quite ugly. depending on yr kitchen layout, have to stretch across or go round the kitchen. Anyway he tell us is not necessary for kitchen sink to have hot water but of course is up to individual
  6. I thought the hot water pipe are alrady up? it seems to me that i am hearing 2 different views from ID. Some tell me all premium flats come with hot water pipe. Some say the shower head and tap ready but no water pipe -_-. So far the showroom flats i go to all installed centralised heater shutiao received yr PM! thanks. We left the pineapple there for almost 2 weeks and there were so many fruit flys!!! must clear ah. Just put inside a plastic bag and put beside the tree downstair can le
  7. we just went to 1 of the flats Stiles are doing. Workmanship seems quite okie. For what i see, they are quite expensive in Capentry stuff. Worst is that some of them are 'must have'.
  8. we are going BKK furniture shopping end of the month but i heard that it is quite expensive to get things there. i remember vaguely seeing some nice furnitures @ Suan Lum. Other than there, where can we go?
  9. shutiao, we are ocnsidering stiles too. One of the unit in my blk had engaged them but different ID. can share quotation?
  10. has anyone confirmed their ID? I am getting quite confused and worried . We had more or less confirmed 1 but i worry that we didn't include some items into the quotation and end up, have to pay more.
  11. bumping this thread. Any recent customers from Stiles? The old thread was locked. So far, among the 3 IDs that i am comparing, Stiles is offering the best package but i am afraid that we might over-look some hidden costs and didn't factor it.
  12. we had shortlistd Gplan as one of them however, most likely we are not taking them. The quotation include a basic package which already cost almost $9k and plus the additional items that we are getting, it exceeded our budget. Some of the stuff in the basic package are not required as our new flat is a premium flat but it seems like the ID is not very willing to deduct the price. The ID was one of them who volunteer to come over to our new house to have a look.
  13. is it worth spending $$ to do air con in the living room? Everyone is discouraging me from doing it but i don't like my guest to come to my house and feel sticky after a while. I went to some of my friends' house and it's quite unpleasant after a while
  14. where is this Ho Bee at? we got a flat at St 64 too. got 1 quotation from Id and they are quoting us $28k. Goodness.
  15. hi piggiedearz, u dun happen to be on sgbride gonig by the nick of val.. ? i got 678A unit 303 hi dar80, don't give up. our 1st choice unit got selected by the ealrier 2-3 queue..
  16. hi dar80, don't worry. Just look thru the brochure and shortlist the units you prefer. a few days before your appointment just check hdb websai again to do your own filtering. i've got a colleague also got a queue end nov. so far from what i can see, most people are getting st 93 where the new pioneer mrt is going to be located. my pet peeve abt there is the foreign workers hanging around the housing estates void deck. i'm fine with them hanging around me but as a husband, i will worry for my wife if she comes home late. especially so when the area there is quite secluded from the main road. You won't know what they will do when they get a little bit tispy. !! !! i rather be safe than sorry u know what i mean. the only kuku thing abt st64 is majority of the units available there are not squarish. Living room slanted. generally i prefer st64 because it's near enough ( 10-15minutes walk ) to Jurong Point and Boon Lay MRT and interchange. But yet far away enough from the more noisy 'town centre'-aka jurong point. best wishes for your appointment !!
  17. ya loh. we cut thru hdb after hdb and nearly got lost in the 680. great queue number u have there! but it seems like there's 2 of us here talking abt jurong west ballot !!
  18. we got 131 considering the taman jurong one and the 600+ 900+ near pioneer mrt is out for us. the 600+ blocks have been fenced up. we just walked from boon lay mrt to the block. not that ulu i guess. what's ur queue number?
  19. we got it too! extremely excited as we went to the 3 sites today. walked the ground they say. have a a better gauge than looking at the map provided in hdb. not as ulu as i tot. really looking to our appointment
