  1. Not bad, your ID is doing the rubber block for you.. We can only rely on ourselves to retify the problem... Black grouts..live with it loh...nothing much we can do...If I got $$, I will hack all the tiles off and redo new tiles..haha~ They will not deduct on the same day... I think they will a few weeks or 1 month later to do the deduction... Forgotten about it liao... =)
  2. Hahahaha.... Hubby has his first shower and saw water flowing...was like huh..so lousy! Kerb no problem..is the gap between the door and kerb.. They should have the rubber strip at the bottom...same as the side..then no issue... I redo the grouting and it does feel sandy....need to mop many many times then won't feel anymore.. Now can see that they are dropping off liao..back to black grout again! Hahahaha!
  3. junxian... just report anything defects u can find... even letterbox lock also.. cos alot of people had the same problem..me too! I submitted as part of the defects and they change a new lock for me... As the water sips through the small gap to the dry area of the toliet, we went daiso to get a transparent flim meant to stick on the bottom of the door... Of course, it was too thin. too short and dun stick well onto the divider (separate shower area and dry area) as it is watery..so hubby used silicon to stick onto the divider..so the flim become "higher" and block the water from flowing out to the dry area.... of course abit eyesore but it is master toliet..only we are using it.... the result not bad...no more flowing water while showering.. hehe~
  4. Welcome to our neighbourhood! Hope to see your home nicely done up... =)
  5. got free umbrella? My fren told me but I never go and collect... hahahaha~
  6. hi folks.. finally online after 2 days busy of packing and unpacking! Still got boxes lying ard waiting for me to clear! the #12 unit u guys are talking is at my blk and below me... i think the previous owner gave up.. cos when i was choosing during the 1st batch balloting.. Only this blk with straight corner units left on higher floors....it was highest at 14 and 11 below... In the end, hubby want higher...hahaha... So 2nd rd, i saw #12 still available so i guess someone must have given up... But the selling price increase so much in the 2nd rd...even more than what the 16th floor or even me is paying!
  7. If anyone want to change to shower head to pamper yourself in future, need to use storage tank.... For me, I never install any shower head...probably next time...
  8. hi everyone.... catching up with all the posts here... my reno has finally 99% complete....done chemical washing etc today... tomorrow doing some minor touch up here and there... furnishings will be in on monday... hubby will officially move in on monday.. i still shaking legs typing this post as i havent done any packing yet! hopefully, i can move by thursday as friday is the 1st day of 7th mth! btw, seems like quite a few living in 676B.... =) mine is facing inside..seeing opp blk living rooms! hehehe
  9. Saw an article by NEA a few weeks ago.. Saying that instant heaters can save electricity than storage heaters... I think many people will be quite surprising...me too! By the way, I installed Alpha storage tank...quite a unknown brand...recommend by the sales staff at exel asia... He said this brand is quite established in Malaysia and quite commonly used....10 yrs warranty for water leakage... Whether what he say is correct...time will tell..hahahaha~
  10. hi, we got the same dinning lights! I like your sofa..looks so comfy to me!
  11. oh ya... I read abt water and electricity article done by NEA.. It was quoted that instant heaters consumed less electricity than storage tanks! Oh my..... Hubby wanted instant heaters initially but scared all the drillings on the walls so bot the tank instead...
  12. ger.... I installed a 30L storage tank! Hubby was complaing that it was too big! Cos the door will knock onto the "protruding" of the tank.. We went Daiso to get $2 soft rubber meant for chairs legs to prevent scratches onto flooring and pasted onto the tank... I think some forumers install 25L or even 30L tank....I guess the plumber which the ID engage more brave!
  13. oh no! the altis look badly dented sia esp the roof! gonna inform my hubby abt the nasty acts done.. we haven't move in yet..end of july...hopefully the culprits will caught! Btw, did anyone saw the newspaper report in wanbao or sinming papers abt a owner lost in his SUV in MSCP in jurong west last 2 weeks... Hubby told me it happened at the MSCP which he is using now... OMG! I thought car can go missing in JB....but singapore leh....what a shocking news to me....somemore in a HDB MSCP....
  14. hi popeye gal, long time no see and no updates at ur t blog...looks like u are busy with the renovation... I have also chosen grey granite top and my ID will be using dark colour silicon to seal the edges... I think you have to hold back the payment and demand them to redo for you... My ID said the silicon can be in black, grey or even transparent... I think you can ask them to use the dark colour and go over the existing white.... Hope you can solve the problem asap...
