  1. The $69 wink decals come in a pack of 5 sheets of 5 decal stickers each. Which is about 25 decals in total. I think you guys can share the cost since 25 is consider enough to be divided & can be used sparingly on the wall too.
  2. Viper, pm LLhome better. She seldom log in much cos she's busy with her job now.
  3. Wah mocha looks so docile like that. Really looks mau yong! The decals look good on the glass. Adds a lovely touch to your renovated place.
  4. Don't worry about the tax levy & transport charges, they are affordable & worth the trouble to do the delivery over. The furniture in my place are still stable & the bedframe is SUPER heavy cos of the bedhead attached to it. Same for my coffee glass table & tv console. Really heavy to move it about but clearly is stable & cheaper. Barang Barang is selling a similar model of my coffee glass table a couple hundred bucks more the last time I saw. Quality wise, the quality is considered decent for the price you pay. SmartFool, there's a JB renotalk? Can pm me the url?
  5. Jessie, If you buy furnitures from JB, the furniture shop will do the delivery for you as long as you pay for the levy tax & transport fee on top of the furniture costs. I got almost all my furniture stuff from JB actually. Mafiawife bought some lights from JB too. There are loads of lighting shops in JB & I believe mafiawife bought her lights from one of the shops opp taman sentosa area there. Also if you want to get lights & fans, see if you can ask the furniture shop to deliver them at the same time with the furniture without any issue from the msia customs. Sure will ask you to pay some sort of tax or fee to bring them out I think based on what I heard. As long as you pay the tax levy & transport fee, the furniture shop will deliver. Just ask them if they can deliver the lights, fans together with the furniture.
  6. Soo cute!!! I think I would love to go pat or hug the elephant.
  7. You know you can match the cool slate with stone cave as complimentary colour match. For eg, the bedhead feature wall, the arch in cool slate colour, rest of the walls in stonecave? I think the colours may match perfectly to give an interesting look somehow. Of course the lighting plays a part in achieving the right 'cool' look
  8. Wah cat face somemore. Your mocha must have dual personality as both dog & cat sia.
  9. Wah baby elephant!!!!!!!!!! How come it throwing tantrum ah? You know near Baiyosuke suite hotel, there is a wholesale market, something like what you call a pasar malam market except its open during the day till night. The tops can fit for S-M sizes if Im not mistaken.
  10. Jessie, its great you can start your reno. Can barely wait to see pics of your reno.
  11. Why I no see any pics of the buys??? Ranval, hehe donut very amusing. But Oreo is really so small, kinda hard to believe the dog beds cannot fit for oreo.
  12. Eh babytan, whats "mau' yong? my chinese is very bad kekeke Cyn, how come your place needs 43 lighting points? You might want to consider reducing it cos for a start, you be paying for replacement bulbs every then and now to replace spoilt bulbs. Its one of the disadvantages to begin with LBox and Cove lightings. My family home has this problem. One light will go out after a while and when it gets replaced, another light goes out again. Its an endless cycle buying replacement bulbs plus Lbox & cove light areas accumulate alot of dusts very easily. Not fantastic for people with sensitive noses. Im very curious where your light positions will be located.
  13. Its simple, just do a kerb, using tiles at the main door entrance for that purpose. Water splashing won't extend so far out into laminated flooring like that. I had a kerb done at the main door entrance since I took into account that there will be the occassional washing by the cleaners outside the units. My neighbour also do the same, kerb at main door entrance, laminate floor inside
  14. Poor mocha. He prob wants to be sayanged by you at this time.
  15. Lol it seems you guys had a good time as a group. Its very merry in a group going on a holiday at times. I feel like going to BKK again but waiting for my next vacation with hb. But still got to work. Humph
  16. Lol. Ya weekends but not every weekend ma. Electricity bill will go up even more cos ovens use alot of electrical energy ma & my oven can only bake in small batches compared to bigger ovens or built in ovens that can bake 2-3 trays at the same time, saving alot of baking time & less energy wasted.
  17. i won't be doing much baking at home for a while keke cos i will be starting work soon.
  18. Still rest more though. Skywolf's renovation didn't allow for a big sofa due to the platform in living room I think. That why she looking for a 2 seater.
  19. For stencils, I've never done that before but I know that you need a stencil template , stencil paints to make a stencil. To make a stencil template, you just draw out the design you have in mind and cut out the design leaving parts behind. With this, you can use the outline of the cutout shape on paper. But if you 're not sure, you can go to art stationery shop to check out stencil templates available. Those stencil templatates & stencil paints have basic instructions manual on how to do the stencils. One such shop is Art Trends I think, its located one or two floors above kinokiuya at Ngee Ann City. One more art stationery shop is at Bras Besah Shopping, on the top floor? I can't remember the exact location but it is definitely at Bras Besah. Many art students go there.
  20. I must say your home is very nice, warsurfer. Looks very very cosy & homey to curl up at home! It would look more inviting with a fireplace & the 4 seasons.
  21. Ya I think too but it is not edible, so got to bake it nice & crispy to eat. My hb think that the taste is nearly like the taste of danish butter cookies except that danish butter cookies are a little too sweet with sugar on top. I'm thinking of improving further cos I got the recipe from online. The pics of the butter cookies (Winnie Pooh & Piglet cookies) posted by the person of the recipe, look way better than mine cos the print and the colour looks good after baking.
  22. Piggiedearz, how about doing stencils for the canopy area which you want to decorate? Or alternatively, do it up with a small wreath of daisies or sunflower(Maybe artificial ones)
  23. Waiting for more pics le. Btw the cookie mould, I already answer that in greycat's thread with pics of cookies.
  24. I think cantona go surf the net at T1 there. Got internet stations there
  25. Mosaic tiles can be retro if used right since its akin to having a vintage look too. Similarly if going to use for country style, it is possible to turn it into a country style look. Just depends on how you accent it. Why don't you give it a try for the decorative tiles?
