He charged avg abt $3 per tiles. Upon choosing tiles, he will calcualte n charge accordingly. Normally tiles difficult to ask to reduce bcos it doesn't make much difference. Paint no difference regarding which u choose also. If u want to reduce the quotation best is consider which item u would want to eliminate. My first quote is $40K. After sveral revise then final down to $35K

Hi vicenzo70 Is this yr 1st quotation ? Normally for first quotation he tends to charge accordingly until when he meet u couple of times, he may revise his quote. My total reno also: 35K exclude electrical U have alot to hack alot of things but its cheap compared to ID quote.

Hi FifiGal My suggestion is u give Patrick a call, tell him when (precise dd/mm) u need to get yr kitchen done. Ask him can he make it, if he said cannot, then u can get someone else to do it. How abt that ?

Yes... I agree with MaCe My house right now in the midst of reno. We did add on some items which not dicussed in the beginning. And my hubby and I are very eager to see his revised quote (We are worried that it may exceed our budget). But he told us not to worry lah ... will still remain the same. He is not those calculative person but he is very very busy soemtimes got to remind himon the changes we have made. We should give n take on this isn't it Anyway, i am also a very easy going person

Yes in deed Ho Bee quote is very reasonable. Before Ho Bee, i went to IMM to ask for quote for the things that i want to do and within a certain budget. Some ID in the end quote me within my budget but alot of items that i want to include missing. They only quote based on my budget. There is bound to have alot of hidden cost for ID. Yr budget must alot then can... Right now, my house in the midst of renovation by Ho Bee. Patrick is a nice, honest person of great help to me. The previous week i called up Best Tech and request to get their technician down to my house to survey on how they would like to lay the piping. In the end, technician didn't turn up and got scold by Best Tech they so call GM saying: You customer so what, you don'y earn me a living". I wasted my 1 day leave My hubby & I got so pissed off that we cancelled the order from them. Patrick volunteered to help us source for a air-con and we also do our part at our end. He also suggested that Mitsuibishi Heavy not very good, Toshiba is better. After several confirmation, he managed to get a Toshiba system 4 at $3.4K and coordinate with the technician to lay the piping today No Hassel for me So i strongly recommend Ho Bee but sometimes has to wait & chase for quote bcos he is very a busy man so you guys gt to understand.

Hi mamapea Do not buy from BEST TECH. I actually also bought and paid $100 deposit for Mitsuibishi heavy industries. In return, i got a bad scolding from the GM in Best Tech. He is very rude and their coordination was so bad that i wasted my 1 day leave last week. I got so piss off and cancel the order from them. I had actually posted my complain in this forum http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?sh...=9682&st=40 After cancellation, i have done some research and realise that you can Toshiba / Daikin air-con. Perhaps you can do some research. I actually got a quote for toshiba system 4 inverter at $3500 (include GST) from one of the recommendation from my ex-colleague in Toshiba. This is to share my unpleasant experience with you. Do not belive what they say.

Hello Leen You also kena attitude from them too ? I am really very mad with the way they service their customer. Somemore he is a GM. The GM is actually the Boss of Best Tech relatives. The boss of Best Tech did call my hubby to explain, he still try to shield the GM for what he has done. They really provide a very bad service. I am going to warn everyone not to buy from Best Tech , otherwise, sure get the same attitude like us

Hmm.... i feel they not very truth also bcos they recommend Mitsuibishi Heavy Industries air-con to me. But after cancellation and complaining, alot of ppl told me Mitsubishi H.I not very good. They still tell me good. In deed, their service very bad. Even a GM talk to customer in this way. So you got yr air-con ready ? Maybe i should go round IMM again. How abt gain city ?

Hello All Just note NOT to buy air-con from Best Tech. I've got a very bad experience with them just to share with you guys and it happened yesterday. My hubby and I had arranged to meet technicians yesterday to survey on how they should lay the piping together with my contractor so we both toke 1 day leave. The Best Tech sales man told us the slot from 10.30am to 11.30am. But we wait till 12pm they still not here yet. Never mind. I called up the sales man and he gets his office girl to return call and told us our slot is from 2pm to 2.30pm. I am very pissed off bcos my hubby had confirmed with the sales man 3 times the day before our appointment and yet such things still happen. Then i ask to speak to GM to see whether he could send his man down asap. I would never expect a GM named Robert to shout at a customer. I told him are u a mgr if not no point speaking to u bcos u cannot help me. He didn't say he is a mgr or not, he say what is it about. Then i said: "can u get yr man down now bcos my contractor and i have been waiting for 1.5 hours". Maybe my voice abit agitated but he far worst than me .... He shouted at me: "can you don't shout" Then i get very pissed off. I shouted back saying: "I am yr customer leh, you shouted at me still asking me not to shout" (Actually i not shouting, just raise my voice) He shouted: "Customer so what. You don't earn me a living" Wah ..... i damned mad with this man . And he shouted saying: "u not happy ask yr lawyer to sue me" and hang up my fone. Luckily, i paid $100 for my deposit only. Haizzz... just my luck to encounter such thingy. Now i had cancelled the order with Best Tech and now looking for a system 4 air-con. Any recommendation ?
