hmmm i dun really know how to check on the hollow tiles in the bathroom. the workers will be doing the installation of the bathroom accessories on tis sat...will see if they will be having problems with the tiles anot. if yes, then i will complain again hehe.. by the way, all the handles for the window had been rectify by the bsc ppl this afternoon. finally all over liao.

Free labour at work painting the common toilet

Due to budget constraint, we need to progress our renovation in stages. We engaged a ID firm to take care of my kitchen, bar counter, shoe cabinet and false ceiling. Following are the drawings from my ID. Think the shoe cabinet abit stupid. hahaha.. we actually choose this journal design as our shoe cabinet and with black colour leather lining on the side. Hahaha...we ask the ID got anyone choose this design and she said no. So we told her ok then we take this since we dun want to have the same shoe cabinet as others. hahah... the longer side of my kitchen the shorter side of my kitchen the inner side of my bar / breakfast counter my suspended full height shoe cabinet at the side of my door entrance

wow...just started my T Blog less than two hours and already got so many viewers le...abit stress up lei...i try my very best to upload lotsa of photos so as not to disappoint u guys. ok..in order to save $, we do the painting ourselves. hahah..although we are not those professional neither we are those good 画家 but i believe no matter hw the work would turn out to be, we are sure to be 满意cos is our effort after all. haha. my bf got some business associates which is working in nippon so manage to get the paint at a discounted price. Total spending on the paint including the wall sealer cost $450...ermmm exlcude my ici paint which is meant for the MBR. hahaha...Today we did our 1st stage of painting...wall sealer. Ya HDB already put the sealer for us liao but u know la..their sealer is cfm those 淡如白开水 one so some of them encourage us to paint another layer of wall sealer so then we buy the wall sealer paint lor if not i am only paying $300 for all these colour paints you see below. Years ago, I gave up my balloting for Tivela in Bungkok. An ideal location as is near to the MRT station however i gave up due to certain reason. And years later, I try balloting for all the past BTO projects however all my $10 contribution just got eaten up by HDB. 皇天不负有心人，I finally gotten a Q nos for the 2007 July balloting in Jurong West. To some ppls staying in the central area or to those who can afford an over 30k of 4 rooms flat in Boon Keng, Jurong west is like like a 狗不拉屎place. But then to me, is not the case. Firstly, is near to my parent house. Secondly, is near to the expressway. Thirdly, is near to the future pioneer mrt station. Fouthly, is near to the stadium and lastly, I like the environment cos it gives me that kind of 宁静feel. Although is not our ideal level, however 没鱼虾也好 at least is our ideal floor plan. Anyway, nothing is 十全十美。I just hope that 家和万事兴 then ok liao. On the 6 Nov was the day I collected my hse key if i rem correctly. lol. Still hesitating if this was really what i want....I mean do i really wanna settle down? Even till today, u ask me this question, i am still not able to answer you. Hahaha...thats the character of a gemini ba....always 三心俩意。哈哈。 If you were to ask me when was the date i do my initial house opening, i seriously dun rem. Hahaha. During the initial stage, it was fun. Searching of renovation quote, see see here look look there. Hahaha. But as times goes by....I get abit tired of all these. Aand of cos, quarrels do occurs but all these are just part and parcel of setting up our new home. We took months before we settle down on our ID and getting our renovation started. Wow really take **** long right. Hahaha ya partially also due to the BSC peoples who took a long long time to rectify the defects. If i am going to give a rating on the BSC efficiency of rectifying the defects, they sure to fail. But i am lucky as my TO is a nice person who really take care of our hse defects. He make sure the BSC guys complete the defects and give me a call to update me on the status regularly. It was really nice of him. And till date, all my defects had been rectified. Horrary. After mths of discussion and sourcing, finally the aircon, platform, renovation, electrical work are going to start. I had also gotten my drawing from my ID. Going to post it up soon.

yoz zen..tot u said wanna pop by wow lao din see u lei. i request for the team who do yr trunking but they not available so they got me another team of installation. All i can said is prefect and I really din regret choosing All Best. After analysing my house layout, one of the uncle told me for the house unit they will run the trunking everything to the kitchen then to the kithen window then into the bathroom. Great that was what we wanted also. The ladder which u saw that day was to allow the installation guy to do the trunking ba. I not very sure also cos i left after they explain to me how big the fancoil will be and how they going to run the trunking. After everything was ok, i left the house to buy my heater. had an debate with the id yesterday and finally she remove it. save my $90. She still said aiya not much money what. I told her ya is not much however if u add this 90 there another 90 then is alot liao lor.

wet work complete le. now got to wait for this sat for the aircon trunking and the electrical wiring. then false ceiling up on sun or mon lor. o ya i will still be installing the system 4 ismart. they will unscrew the stand for the compressor then bring it out. Then at the aircon ledge, they wil screw it back. ask u all something hor...if the id charge me for the base of the washing machine they shouldnt charge me another sum of money for loading sand + cements + buying extra tiles for the washing machine base right?

o promo wor....cash still said give us free upgrade. hmmm... so u top up another 150 for the cha cha ze ni? i yesterday after meeting up with cash i go n\back measure le..ya is78cm nia that comressor is 79.5 ya u are right normally we dun on both at the same time but paying another 150 more to downgrade my btu just dun seems a good suggestion lor. so i see if he can dismantled the stand for the compressor first then bring out the compressor then install back again.

ya 112sqm... 3d drawing will only be out next week. the id now doing the wet work lor. i did try to use a software to design before. maybe can refer to the previous post. if not i will pm u my 3d once done. zen ~ i went to cash yesterday and he suggest me to change to cha cha ze ni lor. he said he will give me the living room btu to 26000btu. however what i know is the compressor can only go up to 30000btu so means the cooling time will be longer if i m going to on 1 bedroom + living room. after a night consideration, i give cash a call and ask him if he can unscrew the stand of the compressor and bring it out to the aircon ledge then at the aircon ledge they assemble back again. he said he will check with the technician and revert back to me. seriously i dun intend to change lor. see huh...the cha cha one hor...living room unit cannot cha cha one lor only bedroom. somemore got to top up $150 more and with a lower btu than my ismart.

HUH? 8inches wor super high lei. my 6inches already very high which i feel that if pregnant or what not very safe for women lor. yr id still suggest 8 inches wor. my triangle is 6 nia then after the triangle it the tv area which is like a square that one only 4 inches nia. i at least get contractor and id to quote all very x. in the end..i signed up with this company during an exhibition fair in expo. they changing all the timber skirting for my whole living room + bedroom passage way plus overlay my bar counter area and construct the 2 platform for window and tv. they charge me $1800 which is really cheaper than what the contractors and id had earlier quote me. think the window platform is alreadt 700plus for a 4 inches high platform. thats y since i already will be changing the timber skirting for the whole living room and passage way, i din get hdb to rectify lor. hahah. the laminiate they use is quite an establish brand. scratch and fire proof at the same time is water resistant too. so no worries if water spill on the platform or overlay area. by the way hor...me not the same blk as u. not sure if the layout is the same. me at 989d triangle at the window..then bomb shelter in the kitchen. same layout?

hehee..i din do any window grill lei...din wanna the feeling of being caged up. hahah. but if guest come got small kids or what. the window will be closed with aircon on ma so not worried lor. by the way...i had pm u to ask u on the aircon installation issue.

ya 6 inches. got false ceiling due to downlight. cos next to the window is the i place my tv. so tv area i am raising a 4inches platform. if window there also raise 4inches same as tv area then wont look nice at all. so thats y window there raise 6inches to have a difference from the tv area.

i m still in the Q and got to wait till end april or early may to have my window handle fix. sigh so long man. now i am abit worried. i m doing a 6inches platform at the full length window there. Heard from quite alot of contractors that is not allowed. So i worried that when they come and replace the handle they saw the platform will they said anything anot.

what happen? y need to redo all the tiles in yr living room?
