  1. true, use wet & dry vacuum cleaner is the best (me use karcher wet & dry) last time no vacuum cleaner so use wire to clear the pipe lol...
  2. Yup the same lock. This lock i use on my sliding windows. Casement duno use what lock (normally casement lock good enough already). I install myself loh, coz only replace with new lock (installed by previous owner). So far new my home only found there. You may try find hardware shop near your home.
  3. last time when we went there also we just look around 1st. then later got staff entertain us and service is good. 2nd time went to take more samples, service also good.
  4. never check warranty details, so duno it come with bracket (wall mount), so just ask plumber to install.
  5. I found the lock already, bought from hardware shop at bedok road, changi complex. Only $3.50 each
  6. Best if you can provide the floor plan, just to make sure the light is enough to cover the area. From the box that you draw. Since you want to have full control, you can have switch for each light. Sofa & TV you can use those 6 in 1 switch.
  7. Joven or Ariston are good. I use Joven coz warranty longer, 10 yrs.
  8. can try this 1 http://www.choicecycle.com/
  9. hmmm FS got this kind of thing ya, so troublesome i think quite troublesome to on the light from 7pm to midnite. easier is use those light auto on when dark.
  10. I'm using downlight with ballast. So far no problem. I think quite easy to change ballast, just need to release the clip and u can bring it down. ballast also not easy spoil, can last few years. the bulb (pl-c) is cost abt $6, 1 set only abt $30 (double). I find it not worth it if without ballast cost more on bulb and spoil easily.
  11. yeah not cheap, can buy many bottles liao for salt, you can put some grains (rice) inside so that easy to come out.
  12. Legrand, Clipsal and ABB also got those standard switches. If your ID show you the Legrand designer switches then should be ok. Otherwise you wont know which type that ID will give you. Yes, Legrand switches cheaper. Clipsal more expensive.
  13. Replace switches very easy lah Electrician only give those standard switches. If you want designer switches then must buy yourself.
  14. Last time i bought it at fairprice but duno now still have or not. I heard use bleach also can.
