yeah u got sharp eyes... my id wanted to paint the door this way to get condo effect. the levers he changed for us foc. the actual size for our sofa is 3m... but got to get a smaller set. so u live next blk. can meet up one day... but ur reno seems fast to complete. can move in so fast...veri gd. we waited 1.5 mths to complete. finally can move in liaoz.

can try jimmy. he's quite popular in forum. as recommended by forummers, i got him to move my things twice. no prob at all. he charged ard 200plus for each trip... boxes are provided free. he will wrap up ur furniture for u. very professional and helpful.

Yeah maybe, never tot of it. But i think this reccess or floor levels have HDB regulations on them.But any way its done and could be a washing area also. Reccess could not have the same height borders as compared to the kerb i supposed

thx for the compliment the cost for my reno is 40k... mine is at B... i hacked my study away but the living is quite small so got to custom made the sofa to shorter length. the normal length is 3m so custom made to 2.7m. so u living same area as us? here's the completed pics of the hse... movers will be moving my things in this morning. monday furniture will be in and at the same time will official move in. will spent some time to pack and settle down. so will try to post the completed pics after tat. anyway still got some minor things left to retify and got to wait after CNY. coz workers starting their CNY break. so haiz got to ta han a bit... but i know tat the workers are already trying their best to rush for us. so pls stay tune. n thx for all ur support n advices. i'll be back.

i bought the 8 ft one. cost $1450 ard tis price if i remember correctly. but normally most ppl buy 7ft for homes. cost $1250. u can go to tis website for more details. www.poolworld.org here's a clearer pic of the kerb... anyway u can do the kerb depending on ur dog size. but try to do drainage and fix a belee(dunno the spelling). those tap for WC. so tat beside ur dog can do her business there, it can oso serve as a washing area for her. can't see the belee fr the pic. but its fix beside the cabinet.

hihi welcome n congrats on ur new hm. look forward to pics of ur hse. anyway i oso got a doggy. and i make a kerb in the kitchen for her to do her business. oso can be use to bath ur dog. just wanna share with u my experience. hope it helps. coz last time my common toilet became my doggy personal toilet. oso heard fr others tat if got dog better dun put pebblewash. coz they like to scratch. hope it helps... ps: u can click on the link below to view my blog. there's pics of the kerb.

hallo congrats! same same JW! hope u got a nice meet up with ideal hse id. just my experience...try not to buy furniture before u start ur reno coz my fren oso got this experience. buy this buy tat then end up cannot match with the design of the hse. for us, we got most of the things during the reno to match the concept. as for those items tat need to be install during the reno like hood n hob, oven, aircon...u can get them after u discuss with ur id. n i'm sure ur id will get u gd deals for the things. anyway will stay tune to ur pics...

its a square kerb for my doggy to do her business. the kerb comes with drainage and tap so tat i can clean. normally jus lay newspaper on the kerb for her poopoo. coz last time i lay newpaper at the common toilet so when guest came to our hse, we need to clear away or ask them to use the master toilet instead. so end up oni left 1 toilet to use. the common one becomes her personal toilet. so we make a kerb as a toilet for her. if ur dog not veri big can oso bathe her there. oso can treat as a washing area. it looks like this: kerb behind glass divider so when enter kitchen cannot see.

(dunno how many ft for hhs feature but altar is 5 ft) - full height swivel tv feature and suspended console 8ft - full height shoe cabinet w tinted mirror 3/5ft and seatee - kitchen ard 30ft w black glass blacksplash - built-in wardrobe w black glass n 3D laminate 10ft - suspended bed frame w 2 bedside table - vanity at master bath 6ft - dresser 2ft - seatee at pool feature w cushion 5ft glass: - shower screen - door for master bath 3ft - red tampered glass for vanity top - kitchen door 4ft - black glass for kitchen divider (foc) - tinited mirror at 2 sides of bed (foc) tiling: - homogenous tiles @ $4 plus per sq ft **** and dining - laminated flooring at 3 bedrooms - homogenous tiles at kitchen - overlaying floor and wall tiles for 2 bathrooms - decor tiles at common bath - mosaic at master bath - mosaic at foyer and kitchen entrance - tiles feature wall with mosaic for pool area (foc) - mosaic skirting for living and dining others: - false ceiling ****, dining and master bedroom - kerb at kitchen for doggy - plastering for kitchen wall - painting - door lever and designer switch (foc) - hacking of study room - solid surface for kitchen top these are roughly the things that we did. did my best to recall liaoz. those focs are the items that we add during the reno. we didn't pay any extra for items we add. so far johnny just try to accomodate with us w/o hv to top up. same for the common bath decor tiles. each costs $17 plus but he didn't ask us to top up. he said most important muz look nice. he told us tat if can give foc he surely give. so tats why end up the amount remains the same even though we keep adding. but after giving us all the focs he start telling us tat he goin to burst liaoz so cannot ask for more liaoz. veri funni and straight forward. but me n my hubby decided to give him a treat after reno coz he reali help us alot. we reali save a lot of $ through his help. frankly speaking, at first when we saw his quote we were surprised. how come his quote is the lowest and we start to ponder if he will hv hidden costs or use poor materials. his quote is quite a big difference compare to others. guess most ppl are like tat. too low scared, too high then hiam too high. but we are so comfortable with him and his quote so we decided to engage him. but still we hv doubts with him even when the reno starts. but during the reno he reali prove himself very well in terms of workmanship, patience and service. although during the reno, there's bound to be hiccups, but those are just minor ones that we can accept. n he always there to retify them immediately. especially his enthusiastics with the designs, we reali kudos to him. he always share with us his new designs to let us consider again even though we hv already comfirm all the designs. but sometimes when i cal him, he might sound not veri gd but he told me not to mind coz he might be veri busy at the moment. just tell him watever we want. no need to feel bad. anything not satisfied just let him know. he will ask the workers to do it again until we satisfied. this is wat he always assure us. tat night when we are not able to spot more defects, he told us tat if we happen to spot any defect after the handover jus let him know. he'll ask the workers to come back after CNY to retify them. reali kudos to him. anyway in another 2 days will be the handover. will update more and of course more pics to share with all.

its nvr too early to source for ids. after booking our new flat fr hdb, we started looking for buyers for our previous flat. even b4 we got buyers for our previous flat, we already start sourcing for ids. guess then u will hv ample time to decide ur id. think from 1st appointment to 2nd its takes more than 3 mths if i remember correctly. for our case our 1st appointment and 2nd is within the same mth coz we rush hdb. u need to consider which id to engage and oso compare their quotes. choosing an id is critical as getting a gd id will help u save urself from a lot of probs. we are consider very lucky to choose the right id so my reno reali goes very smoothly w/o hv to worry so much. so maybe u can start sourcing for ids now. especially if u r looking for the popular ids, u will need to wait for their quotes for quite some time and oso need a few hours to talk to them on the first meeting. meet up with a few ids and wait for their quote. then compare quotes. shortlist a few whoever u feel comfortable with then decide.
