Apple... the eubiq fellow said normally he charges tpt @ $30, then installation @ $30 per track. So coz of nego, he waived the installation lor... I asked him can reduce or not... so waiting for his reply... How huh? Do you still want to get it?
-
You dun need the bracket? I asked them if need to replace the bracket coz the prev owner had aircon and there's already a bracket. He said better chg so that you have a better peace of mind. Makes sense. Anything happen *touch wood*, I will bang their table. Hihi, I also started learning AC stuff here... Believed Armaflex is common, unless you go to Natural Cool which uses their own product (Nyslex or something). Thanks Keltong, for the info. I only know what to look out for but the actual reason why, I Haha~ But i will not confirm so fast as I can still hold till the end of this mth. How abt yrs?

Huh? Paiseh, my cheena is f9 one. Can elaborate mah? So it's a case of diff fsm have different ways then?
-
Aiyo! So pretty and regal looking! Ma-chiam like a queen lehz. Cross yr fingers first. Haha! Then next time it'll be my turn to hide my pet liaoz~

Guess we cant say we are getting younger liaoz. You can still cat-nap sheepcat. Sheepcat not kitten though, but a full grown furry meow meow EEEKKK... i thot it's yrs... Heh heh... paiseh... can forgo the idea of doggie-nap yours.

Check out the 3 aircon shops on the 3rd floor of IMM. Or check out the tread on aircon quotes in the post-reno forum boards. There are some useful info there

Ok... see got space or not to install such stuff. Coz i have top cabinets. If no space, really liaoz. Cantona, thot she mentioned in her t-blog @ the title liaoz?

Us gals are better in getting a better deal? Hubby feels better with GC. I double checked w GC on the BTU. Earlier was quoted 3 x 9k and 1 x 12k (for mbr). My living rms will have ceiling fans and we doubt it's easy to cool it down (even with 2 units). So effectively can consider as 4 bedrms. Asked him why recommended us 12k for MBR, he said its $50 more compared to 9k btu each for all 4 bedrms. Acted blur and asked him if promo (dunno what free humidifier) still on. He said it is. Guess what when i asked abt the price? A good $100-$200 off my earlier quote. So i know the range they can sell... How much were you quoted for Mit Invertor unit sys 4 @ other shops?

Hmmm... means either can be black or white, no grey parts? Will note this. Thanks for clarifying, Gui!

Ok lah. Literally flying furs lah. Oops, paiseh. Got them mixed up w Chihuahua. myself. labbit... err... prefer meow meows and woof woofs.
-
Hmm? Can dog-nap le right? husky and chinchilla are both doggies right?
-
I dunno. Thing is now since we knew not so gd, perhaps it may be better to do something abt it (practical ones) rather than ignore?

Bulk purchase? I dun mind if they can bill us separately (else 1 receipt for all a bit tedious when and if there's maintainence issue in future) and it's cheaper. An update on Natural Cool. As mine will be used for 4 rms (1 MBR, 2 bedrms, 1 study), the fellow proposed a 4x9k btu unit. With installation, bracket, insulation @ 3/8" nyslex class 1, 2 times tpt, copper gauge 24. Cost = $3735. Forgot to ask incl gst liao bo. If want, upgrade @ $240 for 1/2" insulation AND copper gauge 23. Insulation is nyslex which he claimed it's owned by them and fabricated in Msia. They do not use Armaflex as although it is a German brand, its fabricated in China. He also sugg not to take up the servicing pckg (which they have @ $400, same price as GC). Said this pckg is offered by Mit thus its std. Because it covers (i may get some spellings wrong coz not familiar): Indoor units - PCB, fan motor, thermostat & swing motor. Condensor - PCB, fan motor, thermostat, compressor (?). Comments anyone? I guessed have to get GC to requote based on new reqds since for mine it is 4rms and not living rm - dun need the 12k btu in mbr mah.

I'm very tempted to take things as it comes by. Haha! Yup, we are aware that those who make you buy things from them are cmi ones. But my fsm didnt take down our parent's bazi lehz... Hmm...

What's inside the standard package? Bracket, any upgrades, etc? If just the bare minimum with no upgrades, then it's super duper expensive. Let me try later with my requirements (posted earlier) later so tt its an apple to apple comparision. Mine's a resale and there's already aircon inside. Dunno if its working though. If it works, can considered as trade-in bo?

I dunno. Had not confirmed with anyone yet as we are meeting up 1 more chap from another company. Anyway, had some fs stuff to settle first. Good luck for yr reno! -
Hi Gui, Thanks for your reply. I had given both mine and my hubby's birth dates & times before the FSM told us abt the chong part. So it shd be the full Bazi correct? Not sure on the birth day, though i assume it could be since he already has the whole bazi. Will call him later to clarify. Date selection - only my hubby and myself will be staying at the new hse. Do you mean inlaws/parents bazi are involved in date selection too? It's comforting to hear tt there are dates available for reno, etc. Scared the heck out of me when i heard the no-to-all 2 days back. Agree on yr last para. He is being frank to me already as he was recommended by my good kaki. Scored points when he say he will not "tell me everything is ok, anyhow give us a date PROVIDED we buy a particular FS gadget from him". So i guess he shd be ok.

Well... i think i mentioned MaCe also. Hee... *Scrambling away in case MaCe me*. Actually, i'm still figuring the sink mounting thingy; pros n cons. So cant advise. I was thinking of long term, if the sink/piping leaks, am i gonna change all the wooden cabinets? That alone and my hubby said ok. Initially he also thinks no point. But since he is the one gonna fork out the $ if re-do, he decides otherwise. -
GC @ IMM. I think if time permit, will call them too.

I met up with Patrick & Ah Keong last week. Ah Keong passed me his binded laminate catalogue. Can't remember the brand, need to check. It's still in my rm. And best part - we had not confirmed lor, coz we are viewing one more fellow's work. I believe i mentioned Apple's name. Muah haha! But Ah Keong really dun look like a carpenter lor. I like the fact that he can do a concrete support plus hide it inside the normal wood cabinet. The other 2 contractors/IDs we met say cannot cannot, where got ppl do concrete support these days, etc... I'm not tt old lor, and it's my hse, not theirs. Although they say they can still do when i insisted, i have no confidence in them. What if end result cmi?? -
Hihi, Need some FS views on the situation i'm facing now... FSM said tt as my hubby is born in the yr of the horse, so this yr shd avoid reno/move-in/wedding/siam all the gd and bad events, etc. No issues on the rest, only the reno part. And then, next yr (2009) it's my turn, though i had not confirmed if still suitable to move hse because still kind of shell-shocked. Our original intention was to settle the customary in early 2009, so the moving in can be done in 2009 if it's better to avoid. In reality, we could not possibly let the hse be empty for 9 more mths before doing reno. S&C charges, hse installlments are still being paid and deducted respectively...? FSM was saying tt since we have the yuan with him (he is 1 of my kaki's hubby's friend), he sugg we use the 'zhen' method. Initially he told my friend he's not keen on the job as he didnt want to be the bearer of bad news (understandably so).... Had anyone gone thru this and could help with some advise? Will of course talk to FSM again but thot it may be better to seek some views here first.

Lolz~ Let me post it in the Geomancy part and hopefully some others can share their experiences... Cannot be that i'm the only one ganna bah... Okies. If i really no time to scout, will get the same as you. Haha! Btw, any idea simi is intergrated sink? Hubby tried to describe to me; he gave up after a while.

Huh... how come so expensive for the drilling of holes de?? Charge you all rental for using that electrical equip + drill bits? BunBun: The outlook looks not bad... was thinking those hanging kind like SSC a bit odd. Put things inside most prob will swing a bit. Prefer those affixed. Can I ask... other than Ikea having these, any other retail shops doing it?

Saw a pic of yr doggie @ GreyCat's tread? Is that yr pet? If so, think it's up for dog-nap coz the pic was up before I promised not to do so. Nope, no pet. Can't compromise. I want a doggie, hubby wants a kitty. I cannot imagine the furs flying when and if they fight. Perhaps we get them both from babies...?

I dunno his $30 figure pluck from where de. In fact I mentioned to him abt yr crack tiles. He told me it shd not happen. My gut feel is that they have different companies selling this Eubiq thing here in SG. Check out their website. Under SG, there are i think 5 or 6 persons to contact if keen on it. So I guessed some will take some DIY stores or the crave the whole of SG up into parts. Cross fingers 1st. I seem to be crossing fingers quite a lot these days. Update: Apple, can i check if foc installation you'll be getting 1 or 2? If $30 so-called petrol or reduced price hw? I'm negotiating w him on adapters part also, coz i'll be getting a lot. Hubby planning to get 4 tracks.
