Aiyo... cannot lah. Guess what? We spent NT1k on muah-chi... because of a cute doggie who refused to call for her master out into the shop (think the owner behind shop doing other things). We keep disturbing the doggie to bark, but she dun wan. So end up we play with her and wait for the owner to come out. Then bought lots of stuff. And 2 days later, whilst in Keelong, we spent NT1.8k on... pineapple tarts, etc. The only defence i had was that that shop is famous and recommended in a travel forum.

Doubt there are fixed sizes for drawers. I got big ones, long (but height-wise lower) ones, small ones (standard ones), and lagi smaller ones. The lagi smaller ones are at the sides next to my sink concrete support. Because of the concrete column, the length of the drawers are smaller. But from outside, it's looks like standard sizes coz the outside piece of wood is made longer to cover the concrete support.

Reno ended liaoz. Yesterday got keys. Hehehe!! Bo sofa yet. Haiz. Not easy siah. 1.5m niah. No need liaoz. Compared the pt maid rates and realised more worth it to do 1 time springcleaning by those cleaning companies. Found one @ $258+ after GSS promo, 4 hrs, 3 - 4 chaps for that whole 4 hrs, and no $ if they cant finish on time (coz they are confident can clean in time). Windows, all cabinets (inside n outside), ceiling fans, scrubbing of all toilets and kitchen, + mopping of floor, etc. Whole works. Haven buy. Perhaps tomorrow.

No i haven started cleaning. Sat then buy the nec. stuff. Cant believe 1st thing i bought for new hse are the broom, mop, and pail.

It's been some time since my last update. Had been pretty busy with work and in between thinking of where to get a 1.6m sofa. Rectifications are on-going now, and possible that handover's gonna be tomorrow. Felt a bit bad because I had emailed Steven y'day noght on last min findings on house and asked for his advice.... He called me this morning to say he will try to arrange his guys to do it. Today had just realised that i forgot to fax back the grilles fellow on confirmation. And the thing that made me went uh-oh was the fact that I didnt want to clean the windows myself (at least, not this 1st time because it was not maintained properly by the prev owner. Imagine the cakes of dusts. ) So, here's hopefully the handover can be settled by 2molo. =) Can I check, does different curtain shops sell different lengths of ready-made curtains? Lets say Shop A, having x metres, and Shop B having y metres? Or all half ht curtains are of a specific length?

Kitchen bar is from Ikea - Gruntal series. I got the 80cm due to length constraint. $9. Baskets... err? Those pull-out metal ones underneath the cooker? Those are from Poh Joo. Not sure if they sell them in set of twos because the receipt i had indicated $210 for 2 of them. I also one of those 3 tier pull out sauce rack; its on the left side of the cooker. See the long slim one? That 3 tier costs $100.
