I heard a lot of stories where IDs and contractors are taking more than 2 months to complete a project. Some projects are already in the 4th month and still only 30% done. Reasons given by IDs/contractors are manpower and supplies issues. Should i wait out to get my apartment renovated? Or is it everything depend on luck?

Hi, My HDB apartment ceiling is not made of concrete but instead it is like a false ceiling (not sure if its called board ceiling). Apparently all the apartments on my floor have ceilings like this. I'm living on the highest floor (4th floor). My question is : Am i able to install a ceiling fan in my apartment? My ID says yes it can be done but I'm not quite convinced (i did notice that none of the apartments installed a ceiling fan). What do you all think? Thanks
