Just an update with Neo Gardens. Finished the trial and found not bad, so continued with them. The trial is 3 dish 1 soup, learned to just eat anything they serve, cannot be too choosy. My son likes the soup but feel better to go with 4 dishes. Only 1 bad experience, on the 2nd last day of the trial, just after we call to confirm we will be continuing, the food didn't turn up. Called them and found out that the driver was late (muz be very very very late) and we only got our food at 8.30pm. By then we already cook something else to eat. Called them to complain and they agreed to refund us for 1 day. The food portion was quite good, and my wife was wondering is it becoz of trial give us bigger portion, but the 'normal' days after trial still about the same. And with 4 dishes, it is just nice. Most days we like the food and a couple of days so far where we wish we had something else. Overall so far so good, will continue till we get bored. But when I think about tabao food every night, don't think I will get bored with this arrange too soon. Asked for no chilli so my son got more choices of food to eat. Also asked for microwave container so can save the washing up.

I DIYed my previous 4rm flat. The walls are not too bad and I did save quite a bundle. Ceiling is no joke and door is tough too. Remember ceiling you are working against gravity and it is super tiring. The paint use for the door is different and will be tougher to paint too. But yes, it is possible, yes, you will save $$, but it's a lot of hardwork and time.

Not easy when you are panicking. Haha...the first step should be to off all the switches (if you are calm enough ) thereafter to switch on the power at the DB. If it is all upwards, den have to check the one outside the door. Afterthat turn on the switches 1 by 1 and see if anyone of them cause it to trip. Hmm...I think this is where those battery powered light which come on when it is dark comes in handy. Maybe I should get a couple.

No more O2 liao...lol...taken over by another company in asia. I always got beetle visit me, at 1st once a day now lesser liao, maybe not enough beetle to swim in my toilet bowl. Than got those small little flying ants, mini moth like thing. *sigh*

Don't think you can hack any beam. Unless you want the building to collapse. That is how I feel. But that wall on top of the balcony may not be a beam. Better check with HDB can or not.

Eat the morning 'session' one. Lots of people, the bee hoon and chicken wing quite good. Use to be able, when I still have my bike WELCOME! We moved in about the same time sia...and next block only, me at 359A.

If you want I can pass you mine to test it out. So far all my 3 doors can close but better to try it out.

Got this to hang clothes behind the door, no need to drill, just place on top and the door still can close properly. Only problem, too high! Ok for me, my wife needs to use hanger, and my sons cannot reach it. But still like it, and bought another 2 more. $12 from Homefix.
