  1. Hi saint..hehe... BKK: Bangkok MBK: Maboonkrong Shopping Centre in bangkok Chatuchak: Take the subway, its the last station Mo Chit. Where else you want to go? I try to help...hehe...
  2. Hey yang guo...thanks ah! For vivo...some couples take from the roof-top area lor...
  3. Hi... At Chatuchak...there are shipping companies within the market...you can engage them to ship your bulky purchases back. I din't try it b4 myself but their business seem pretty good...so the rates should be quite ok...at Chatuchak I got myself some crockery...they have nice stools and small sofas too...they also have home accessories like salt & pepper sets...vases...dried flowers...display stuff... At the shopping centres like Central Zen....they have a nice section selling home accessories...we got a clock there...we also bought a Pee-man lamp from Propaganda....take your time to shop around BKK and I'm sure you will not come back empty-handed...hehe...
  4. Hi applefreak.. I think you mean Sia Huat isit? I got my crockery mostly at Ikea...Hmm...maybe you can try OG or Isetan too... If you are going BKK, go Chatuchak and buy some...its really cheap there! I found a design similar to a bowl I got from Ikea selling at a fraction of what I paid and end up buying two more there...hehe... But it is very heavy and fragile to lug back...hubby was complaining liao...
  5. Yeap yeap! Purple gives a contemporary look but with the right lighting, it can look romantic too... Haha...
  6. Hi, you mean those that cannot see through for privacy purpose?

  10. Hi yokine, I used Supreme laminate for my 3 bedrooms and my cosy corner platform. Good quality and very pleased with their workmanship. Everything ok so far! (Its been 8 months already...hehe) I like the feel of laminate. When you first wake up and your feet touch the floor, it is not as cold as tiles! Warm fuzzy feel instead...hee..especially like to laze on my platform...
  11. Hi Lizzy... I don't think wallpaper can really block the noise out...it is actually quite thin... Professional soundproofing will probably work better...
  12. Hi I have a L-shaped walk in wardrobe too...everyweek i give it a dust with the feather duster...as my wiw is just outside the toilet...i also take precautions to prevent mould by putting two Hippos...hee.. I think the clothes get more dusty than hidden with a cupboard with doors...but a WIW was a dream I had to realise in my new home...hehe...the convenience of coming out from the toilet and changing direct is also another factor... Besides our cosy platform, our WIW is also one of the favourite feature of our home!
  13. Hey, my kitchen cabinets are glossy red and glossy black motif too! With white solid surface top...hee...hubby likes the ferrari combination lor...
  14. My banquet hotel required us to make a deposit of 3k upon signing of contract...the rest was paid after the banquet...they were really nice to bill us only when we check out of the bridal suite the next day.... I think some hotels do practise full payment or staggered payment before the banquet day itself though...
  15. Hi weixiaobao... We did it at ROM centre too with "Love That Binds" in Sept 2006...dunno if they still provide this service..hee... We paid for a package that includes securing their function room (which is decorated nicely) at the date and time that we prefer...with all the arrangements like JP included....
  16. I have a cosy corner platform...but I din't make any storage below them...hehe... Think it is possible to customise...just ask your contractor....or find a skilled carpenter....
  17. Hi bunbun...yes it turned out really nice!! Hehe...complements my black furniture especially...

    Nice Wallpaper?

This is my lovely wallpaper from Goodrich...Hehe...its our feature wall too! Hi alpha...my wallpaper seems quite easy to maintain...I dint even do anything so far to clean it...hehe...I think as long as your wall does not get direct sun it should last you quite some time...but of course if you have kids around must watch that they don't treat your wall like a drawing canvas!
  22. Hi ladies.. Just to share on my latest post! What To Consider When Selecting Your Wedding Gown Hope you like it...
  23. Hmm...We have an L-shaped walk-in wardrobe in our new home too but not the pole system kind...our contractor did it by carpentry....
  24. Hi ladyluck... Even if you choose OTR gowns...the bridal must alter the gown such that it fits you nicely...the length is also included...dun forget! Also take note of the bust, waist and the zip areas...
  25. Hi bunbun... Yes my living room is Nippon Medifresh Autumn 3155 while my bedhead is Super Vinilex Velvet Dream 5061. My purple living room walls actually stretch all the way to the bomb shelter and main door...hehe.
