If it length to the wall, than the carpenter should know tat when fabricate of the HHS feature wall, the length should only reach till the wall including the door of the HHS. And to me its unacceptable, they should know before doing tat.

Think leaking got not much to do with the material, rather than much to do with the workmanship, as how they run the piping and the joining of the pipe also play a part. Must question the installer on how the water drainage is run for the aircon, as if the drainage is not properly run most likely tat will cause water to back flow and cause leaking at the blower. but if the leakage is due to condensation than have to ask why the upgraded material also so lousy to cause such a huge water condensation to have water leaking.

Your house are taking shape, lovely bedroom with doll house color. Automatic on aircon, must be very hightech LOL, i dun think aircon will on by itself. No one goes to the place except the workers from the contractors, than must be one of them who on it. But still ?? why on aircon for 2days will leak?? the piping must have some problem, better ask the installer to do a full check why leaking.

Er.. check tiling maybe u can use ur bare foot going over the tile join to make sure no cutting leg feel. And also check to see if the gap are even width. If have any cut leg feeling, just tell them so believe they will rectify for u. Thought no matter how much sand u use also same charges??

For light 6-9 seems alot to me. As the dining light will also be bright enough for tat area. 3 should be enough le, but since she said trust her than u must have some confidence in her lor. Wow got motion sensor somemore, so gd.. never think of tat haiz.. For control wise, depending on ur location of the TV console as light above TV is gd as its wont strain ur eye, for me i would chose combination of : Light 2 and 6 = 1sw Light 3 and 4 = 1sw Light 7 and 8 = 1sw Light 5 and 9 =1 sw so tat both side u can chose to put ur tv console.

Didn't consider solid surface as during reno only think of granite as my mum have been using granite worktop for the past 21yrs so have the impression granite are better.

maybe same granite contractor from 2 different ID haha... But from wat i observe from my mum place the granite dun left water marks tat was why i chose to use granite. But mine may like wat apple have said the sealing is not done properly or not even done in the 1st place.

hum.. than my contractor may have skip tis procedure as mine will leave water marks if i didn't clean dry properly. Than Kari must take note of this part of sealing the granite le.

Mine is black galaxy from INDIA, not sure whether is the 1 tat u wants. As for water marks, mostly is at the sink area and the cooker area tat i saw. As for other area of the worktop seldom lor, as mine worktop very small only

So far like apple said, left hot pot(a while only, for long period never try) and plasticbags on top is ok. But if never wipe off water, will cause water marks lor dun know why maybe quality and country of origin got difference?? As mine is black galaxy not same as apple(blue pearl), so not sure if there are any difference. Only know there are 2 country of origin for granite in sg, 1-china and 2-india tat was wat i've heard during ID sourcing.

My wife do put hot pots on top of the granite top, and also wet plates, must wipe clean and dry if not will leave water marks de. As for hot pots think a while is ok lor, but not leave it there to cool never try b4. All glass door for top cabin, is a complimentary from HER. If you wants to know the details will PM u.

Mine is granite top, so far so gd. Crack?? never heard of, but chipped yes if you really knock some sharp at it may chip it that was what i heard from my friends.

Yes there are a metal tray below, but sometime water will drip when transporting the bowls to the rack so very troublesome for my case. That was why i regreted not having the dishrack above the sink.

Mine dishrack are opposite the sink, and when i dry my plates and bowl all the water drips all the way to the dishrack and i got a oven below the dishrack and sometime also drip water on it. So please remember dishrack must be under sink so as to minimize problem later on. And also take note the numbers of drawer you can have.

If the WM under the dish rack won't the dripping water from those dishes drip on the VM?? And also shorter worktop, think the 2nd layout look better. Mine also matte type laminate in black also.

More switches to control lighting are great, but will also increase the cost of wiring of electrical pt. For lighting switches must plan carefully, take me as an example lor didn't really plan the switches and ID also never remind or inform me of the issues haiz... Now wants to add also cannot le, so bear in mind of the switches part.

For the cove in the center have it in lighter shade than those on the side, than no worries tat its look too dark and ugly. Think have more switches to control the PLC is a must, if not the bills sure shoot sky high. Like me didn't cater enough switches for my PLC, as at any 1 time must on 4PLC haiz...

Tis look better, as for PLC lighting should be enough with a 13W tube depending on how many PLC u have and the floor area. Now HDB living very small so 6 to 8 PLC should be able to light up the whole living area le.

Wow $380k++ is a price to pay for location But its a gd location also gd investment, as the flats there can fetch very high price when time come. Me got no budget to get tat area flat

The wardrobe design only la, not with the TV inside. As her door are glass door look very nice.
