Luckily mine is ok, maybe u can check with CD again for the carpentry works. Is it done by ah Hai?? As for mine, ah hai did quite a good job. But as TEA describe, the magic markers part have to be a bit more careful. Did u check with CD does the type of laminate make a differences??

Can really learn a lots of $$ saving tips from MaCe(in the $$ not enough thread). All those item he intro are very useful and save some$$, especially lighting.

OIC, must their granite tilers, for the bad workmanships. Me is kana a grp of lousy painters, and all 3 bedrm have to re-paint 1 of the wall as really no eye see man. when asked to touch-up the painters can still tell u: in day time u see different colors bcos of sunlight and in nite time than u wont. Me hear tis comments In the end i call gina again, and requested another painter to re-do the touch-up again.

For me most impressive is my tiling works done by ah yen, i would give him 9.5/10. As i sign with CD bcos their tiling works attracted my attention.

Sometime back in the previous thread, someone also did mention that the join lines of the laminate is really badly done by CD. I do believe that ah hai workmanship is not that bad, others than the magic markers part. But i think its all depend on the types of laminate that the owner chose to use , luckily mine that i chose is ok for my kitchen cabinet. As for rating CD workmanship, think its all boils down to which group of sub-contractors CD use. For me, encounter a group of bad painters, but overall experiences with CD is good. Overall rating i'll rate them 8/10, especially services level. If i ever renovate my house again, i will sure look for CD again. And i do recommend CD to ppl who are renovating their house, as i feel that their services standard are there. But most important is that the owner themselves, must also click with the IDs and satisfy with CD workmanship during the visit to their show flat. Price wise they are belonging to the low or average side. Depending on your wallet size Materials wise are also of good quality used.

I'm using princebed mattress also, the model is Visco Therapy gold. Its a 6inch pocketed spring and 2inch memory foam, i can say its very comfortable. My wife love it, i get it from a company not very well known. But the price are much cheaper than any furniture shop i sourced during my furniture sourcing for my new house. Its also have to depend on ur wallet size... If urs is a BIG BIG wallet than wat price also cheap. But if urs is a SMALL SMALL than small price also expensive And also very subjective to each individual

They are not, but their contractors are. Does this clear your doubts?? Be it accredited by RADAC or not, most important is do you have the chemistry with the ID?? Some of those "BIG BIG" reno company are RADAC registered but did u read through some of the thread in renotalk?? They are giving BIG TIMES problem, that the owner have to go CASE. CD may not be HDB or RADAC registered, but their service and workmanship do have some lvl of standard. But that are subjected to individual expectation. Just my 2cents worth.

The Sink i bought from asiaexcel at balestier road, think its cost me abt $245. The tap also at asiaexcel $100. The good part of this sink is the huge waste bin, its easily clear and very useful.

Don't think its a good idea to have ceiling fan on false ceiling. As the distant for the fan to have cooling effects or wind circulation there must be some distant between the ceiling and the fan blade. There are some thread regarding ceiling fan, do a search and you will find much more info in those thread.

Mine also needs strength to open & close, its kind of standard. i think so. But with 4 hinges, its a bit funny though. Maybe the door is very heavy tat Y lor As long its working fine and you are happy with it than it ok. Reno is a very tiring process, but it also exciting as you see ur house slowly build up to ur expectation and planning. When everythings is up, you will be so happy. There are bounds to have hicups, but as long ur IDs or contractor help u fix it than ok le
