OMG, my bf just said he wants to look at places closer to town!!! when we were looking before, he said he wants suburbs! that does mean I can do reno again though... hmmmmmm!!!

Tiny vanity area, will DIY the 12 year old chair to change the cover and stain the legs darker MBR tv console sorted! Walkway to MBR bathroom, with full length mirror installed Guest room about 90% done with the place, guest room needs a desk and a rug, need to find something to do with the back of the bed (wall paper??), find some art for the dining table wall and the entrance wall, frame the pictures for the walkway to the bedrooms not contemporary design, more suitable to oldies like me! more of a mish mash of styles but kept the colour scheme consistent throughout the house, dark wood, red, beige and white. Comments??

i installed a 3 ft by 9 ft mirror for my room, cost me about $300 pm me if you want the contacts.

Maybe you could change the colour of the walls sightly to match with the tv console more... seems a bit off kilter?

Hi musicbox, your story is slightly similar to mine. I went to view my current condo about 3 times, to make sure I really like it, on the third visit, I confirmed with my agent. He then called the other agent to confirm. After a few hours my agent called and said the owner want 100k more than the agreed price (because a similar sized apt just sold for that price). I told my agent no, he advertised on that price, he showed me the apt 3 times on that price, and he cannot increase the price over night. If he does and insists on the higher selling price, then I will get my lawyer to sue him and his firm for misrepresentation. In the end he managed to convince the owner to let go at the earlier agreed price. Also helped I had a very good agent who really looked after my interest. These homeowners and agents sometimes feel they can take us for a ride!!

there are 2 on temple street, really good stores, think one is called sia huat. go check them out!
