I told him that my budget is 18k then slowly increased to 22k(quite normal after some additions) and after we seen the FS master it has increased to close to $25k. Pls advise if the following is ok and should there be anything that we can try to reduce our cost. (One example) My friend told me that I should try to nego for a demolition for a 1 time price. This contractor that time is the most competitive price but then after add this and that seems like the cost really risen significantly.
