Bad After Sale Service At Co'zy

wah you really pissed!!

he-ll yea this is our 2nd horrendous encounter other than blasted ACKERMAN & SMITH Pte Ltd major scam episode,really makes my blood boil whenever i see more innocent people getting cheated by these unethical/unscrupulous companies.

Why not someone create a new thread titled : Blacklisted Companies - avoid them at all cost,engage at own risk? on major forums to put these cheaters on check? i mean we should prevent anymore victims from falling into their vicious trap...not that they could retrieve their $ back easy,just imagine the trouble n time (5 mths) we been through to get our deposit back from Ackerman & Smith P/L..

i did try to post a thread with phantom members advertising own service but it din go up.

its too controversial to post a thread entitled that and may get the renotalk admin into trouble.

but lucky for renotalk...i think i siam many potential disaster.

always go see see look look happy wanna buy then go home check renotalk then sian cos the shop is black shop.

Sidetracking - i don't have anything to add to this thread but can I just say what a great forum this is and I whole heartedly support the idea of coming up with a blacklist of companies to prevent more innocent customers from falling into these scams/traps!

We just got a place recently and being foreigners in this country, you have no idea how useful renotalk is in our decision making! Keep it up and as for co*zy, will be staying far away from them and telling the whole world.

There are many ID companies/contractors/furniture shops who read this forum so it's about time we create awareness - the internet is indeed powerful!!

You people are just too free to be complaining about almost every single company I guess.

By the time you shortlist your personal "blacklisted" companies, I don't think you'll be left with many choices. I as a businessman understand the pros and cons of every company. I make mistakes, and have made my clients unhappy too. It is happening ALL AROUND, not only amongst the companies that you people have complained and "b....ed" about like little girls.

That brings me to the person who used this word on one of the lady boss from inch. Do you know that there is even an etiquette when it comes to shopping and complaining? It seems to me that you are a man, but I think the way you express yourself makes me embarrassed to be a man. I thought only girls call one another b....es..

And besides, inch has done a great job in renovating my whole house. I admit there were some delays and a couple of miscommunication. On both parties. She was always busy (which I tell her it's good cuz it means business is good), so was I. But at the end of the day, the whole result was good, and I think I paid the money for this result.

Every company in every industry would be bound to have some service which is not to our expectations. If you have the intentions of digging up every company's ugly side posted by your kind, I can safely say that you'll be left with no choice in the end, because in Singapore, where everyone loves to complain, every organization would have been "blacklisted" at least once already.

My parents were met with similar situations as your and I have since taken over their case and reported to Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE).

Do not forgo your Deposit!

the officers at CASE may help you!

If you still have that invoice issued by Inch Design or whatever that computer which that lady whom you had bad experiences dealing with, CASE can help you!

I hope my note to you did not arrive too late.

i think most of us had the same experienced. we were all impressed by the nice wardrobes and bedroom sets that they have in their shops or exhibition. needless to say, i'm one of those who fell into their trap too <img src="http://www.renotalk.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

they didnt even mention anything abt the unfair T&C that is BEHIND the receipt. and as the same, we havent really decide if we were buying or not and the lady boss (janet) had asked her assistant to issue us the invoice.

when i called her up reflecting my unhappiness on her T&C, similarly she bragged abt her products and even said she can make adjustments on the clauses that i'm not happy with.

as i've mentioned, we decided to give up on our deposit. someone called and asked us when we would like them to go down and take measurements. when i told the person we decided to forgo the deposit, the person didnt even say anything and just hang up the phone.

i just the company survived by this means of income? :X

I am sorry that i do not agree with you. If you pay a particular interior designer or an ID firm, there must be someone or an appointment to someone with responsibilities to attend to you in the event when you have enquiries and such.

It is fortunate that I only chanced upon your online reply after i had gotten Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) to represent me in dealing with Janet from Inch Design.

My parents got unfair trading practice treatments from Janet Lim of Inch design, who even in public loudly and rudely claimed that she will only talk to any of us (my parents or me in this instance) when we made an phone appointment with her although we finally get to meet her at her furniture exhibition. All other three trips down to her shop and exhibition grounds only resulted to the staff present telling us that Janet Lim is not in town...Always Not in town? This seemed fishy...why still give her our business right? Is she a One-woman Show? a fly by night company? Proper reasoning with Janet Lim only resulted her talking rudely and loudly to us as if she is all out to cause embrassement to us in public, a ususal threat tatic used by unreasonable people)

Thank God for CASE!

We no longer need to deal with such unreasonably rude suppliers in the likes of Janet Lim from Inch Design.

I urge all friends who felt they had been unfairly treated by such unethic suppliers to report their cases to CASE at Tel: 64631811 or email: sayit@case.org.sg.

i leave my final note for all to come to a conclusion.

Janet Lim Loudly claimed to me and my family that she is NOT the Boss of Inch Design and is not able to attend to our requests on that day and cannot make any on the spot decisions when we finally got to meet her face-to-face.

Upon further querying her designer and sales staff, on another day, they admitted that she is the boss.

What does this tell you about a person doing business? Do we still want to give our business to such a character?

However, Thank God that I personally went down to CASE and now there is a CASE officer assisting me to deal with such unethical rude person of the name Janet Lim of Inch design till there is a conclusion for me. No longer do i need to even talk to her. No way will i forgo my deposit no matter how little the monetary amount is.

I am sure if more and more people lodge similar complaints or witnesses to unfair trade practice done by this Janet Lim of Inch design Pte Ltd, there will certainly be a form of legal justice for all the people victimized by her.

I am all out to gather evidences and will formally seek legal justice to ensure that such characters, especially Janet Lim of Inch Design do not go on with their unfair trade practices anymore!

We consumers, especially all of us in Singapore, is protected by the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act.

Let us all know our consumers' rights.

Well, this taught all of us a very common lesson in this forum, customer service before and after are very important.

Especially in Singapore, where products are so competitive that we customers are actually advantages, and yet always

played into all these unpassionate sales people. Must ask more questions around and be patient to consider properly.

Sometimes a leopard never change it's spots, especially a old ugly and fat one.

More astoundingly is that this fat one happens to be a big fat ugly liar also.

I will let the laws governing Singapore to deal with these people who conduct unfair (trade/business transaction) practices outlined in the second schedule of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading Act).

In short, even if Janet Lim of iNch Design Pte Ltd said or do anything unreasonably, Justice will be served eventually.

I ,on my own capacity, would certainly recommend that any common man in the street not to cause themselves distress by having any business dealing and monetary transactions with iNch Design Pte Ltd.

If you felt bullied or cheated by anyone especially Janet Lim of iNch Design Pte Ltd, do approach CASE or commence legal action in the Small Claims Tribunal or other Courts against iNch Design Pte Ltd. If more and ore of us do lodge similar complaints or small claims against iNch Design Pte Ltd, then certainly Janet Lim will so not be able to victimize any unknowing consumers anymore.

An Injunction will eventually be served on such dishones goods and service suppliers with an order by the court to restrain (stop) dishonest suppliers from engaging in, or further engaging in unfair practices.
