Electrolux

W/M: EWF1084

Dryer: EDE606A or EDE429E

Brandt

W/M: WFH10771A

Dryer: EFE310K

Is the price the same between these brands? I've use both brands before, I find Electrolux quality are better interm of electronic. However, I can tell you that you must look for a machine that will swtich off after washing or drying, this can safe some power consumption. I known Electrolux equipped with this feature. Brandt also ok if you want a simple and does the washing, it's still a good assistance. There a lot washer with many many features but eventually you'll be using 1 or 2 function only.

Thanks for all the advise. Not decided between Electrolux and Brandt. In the end may go for the Brandt has it has a bigger capacity dryer.

Any reviews for Electrolux EWF771?

I was quoted $760 by a neighbourhood shp.

Good price?

That's quite a good price. Lowest quote I got for it was $750.

But EWF771 is a low end range right?

I just want some reassurance that it's good. KS...

Anyway better to pay a little more for Electrolux. LG front load (non direct drive) already costs $600.

5kg should be ok, unless you've a lot to dry or you need to dry Comforter, Just note that Dryer consumed a lot of electricity..just like Air-con..
