Hi,

We bought a condo unit that come with a few planter boxes.

We aren't so much of a plant enthusiatic and don't have time to maintain the plants. Any suggestions what we can do with them? We thought of sealing them up but was told that it will be pricy

if u deck yr planter box...how do you fill up the planter box?...

we cannot fill up the planter box cos there is a drainage pipe there...

the contractor made a frame and laid the wood on the frame cos

our development doesn't allow drilling to be done.

so it is hollow beneath the changai wood.

this is the planter box after decking with wood

looks good. i do believe there is an even darker shade. i have not decided whether to go with the same shade as yours or the darker one. my planter seems to be about the same size (width-wise) as yours.

i'm planning to put a small table and 2 deck chairs at the planter. not sure if i can squeeze in a little water feature though. may have problems as there is no power point at the planter.

Hey, thanks for your replies.

That is very nice!

Can I check how much weight can the wooden planks withstand? Since it is hollow inside, I wonder will it break when fat people like me stand on it :P

Are the wood water resistant?

hi bbin

my contractor says can withstand 100kg.. but so far me and hubby (confirm WAY over 100kg) stood on the planks and it didn't collapsed. hahahaha

it is water resistant.. cos meant for outdoor usage.
