Adding Of Airconditioning To Living/ Dining

hi, i hope someone can share on this. We are currently living in a 5 room HDB flat with air-conditioning in the 3bedrooms coming out from 1 compressor. We're at this point of wanting to add airconditioning for the living/ dining room as it's just too too hot.

Has anyone done this before and can advise what sort of cost we're looking at? Does this mean the addition of another compressor for the living/ dining room aircond?

is ur flat the old ones, where aircon compressor is installed on steel brackets outside, or does it have ledge?

according to hdb regulation, those which require installation on steel bracket can only have 1 compressor, so its a challenge to aircon the whole unit due to the BTU needed.

if urs is those kind with ledge, can support up to 2 compressors, no prob with that.
