Recommended Posts

i thought 12 week is partly due to the bank.

For fully redemption, loan owner need to give bank 12 week notice.

scenic98, I agree with you.

it take too long for the authorities to license all the property agent.

could be. But i think there are exceptions. I handed over my EC to my buyer in 2 months and i still have outstanding loans for the house. We mutually agreed on that.

OK, I guess 10-12 weeks is the norm then. Thanks everyone. Seller already signed OptionTP, so there goes my 1%. Hope everything else goes smoothly in the next 2 weeks.

Hi everyone

Need your advise on this topic, is there any other agreements to sign after exercising the option? And also what happens after signing those agreements? Nothing we should do at buyer's except for waiting?

Thanks to all and sorry for so many questions

after signing otp, pay stamp duty, source for mortgage insurance, decide what kind of joint ownership u opt for if there are more than one owner.

Hope this advise come not too late:

U should sign a checklist on items to keep/remain, so when take over, u can check items against the list.
