I've just signed my 1st Appointment and will collect collect keys from the seller mid-Oct. One of the attractions of this 5'I' apartment is the fact that we don't have to do much reno work, because it's actually move-in condition, with tasteful built-in features.

Will add a few things to this well-kept resale flat like a lighting fixture, some glass doors, perhaps a built-in bookcase in study room, and so on. The rest is just furnishing (which I enjoy shopping for, immensely). I like clean lines in furniture, put together with eclectic pieces to set them off.

Wah layout look very much like my previous unit in compassvale, only diff is I do not have a balcony :)

I know that you wont be doing much reno but it's a risky thing to come to RT leh cos alot of ppl tend to do more than what they expected as soon as they're in RT :P

Haha... good point.

It's about priorities, I guess. And I'll be accountable to my other half, so no impulsive spending sprees :) In fact, I've added my aim to do minimal reno in my signature, to remind myself!

Great to see all the nice homes in Renotalk, I enjoy looking at so many interior design ideas.

Ya since my new place not ready yet so I'm now staying in kopitiam city in Buangkok temporarily hahahahaha :P

List of things to do:

Living room

Install pendant light in false ceiling for dining area (unused existing live wire connected to dimmer switch)

Relocate 3 downlights slightly

Patch/Paint ceiling after electrical works

Make & install dining area mirror (est. L180cm x H80cm) (TBC)

Paint balcony wall

Paint front door grill

Provide & install air-con

Kitchen

Provide & install glass door

Provide & Install two-tier stainless steel dish drainers above sink

Push power outlet/socket at washing machine area slightly

Toilets

Provide & install master bedroom basin, cabinet, tap set

Provide & install ventilator fan in master bedroom toilet

Provide & install glass door for shower area

*Possible painting if existing paintwork is damaged (TBC)

Install mirror above basin

Bedrooms

Slight painting of some walls (TBC)

Built-in book/storage cupboard shelves with doors

Hey I also sold my unit ard that price :)

oh I bought my unit at 478k, val 502k

Just in case you wonder why so ex, it's an EM btw ;)
